has anyone seen The Double with Jesse Eisenberg? Looks interesting.
I actually watched it 2 weeks ago. It was one of the strangest movies I've ever seen and I'm not sure if I liked it or not. It had some really good acting in it but the story was just very strange.

anyone have a movie from your queue show up as "viewed" when you actually never watched it?
I see a lot of that. Stuff I haven't seen on recently watched list and recs based on stuff I've never heard of.

My BIL has access to my account, but I really doubt it's him (though I've never actually asked). It was happening years ago, well before he knew my login info.

Just watched "Downloaded" about Napster, "The Pit" about commodity trading, and "Silicon Valley". None of the three were very well made documentaries imo - but the subjects were so interesting to me I really enjoyed all of them.

Lots of good documentaries recently  Got "Print The Legend" (about 3D printing), and "Particle Fever" (about the super collider) queued up.

ive noticed the same. I think you can goto devices connected on your account page to see whats been accessing your account most recently.

I share mine with 5 people so I don't bother much with it

Bojack Horseman just came out for netflix and is a original show of theirs. Its a adult animation show featuring Will Arnett and Aaron Paul as the leads. Arnett plays a horse and the shows features other animal characters throughout, but it works. The first 2-3 episodes are slower but where entertaining enough. The season is only twelve 25-26 minute episodes, but after the initial introduction phase the show just takes off and is great. The characters work, the music is fantastic and I love the intro song. The show evolves and is deep beyond the standard animation shows. Watch it!
There is nothing funny about stealing a meal from Neal McBeal, the Navy Seal
:lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

OMG Keith Olbermann is absolute :moneybag: :moneybag: in that episode
I finished Bojack over the weekend and came away extremely impressed. What starts as a silly comedy in look and execution (the animal/human hybrids, etc) becomes a show with real heart. I was really shocked to find myself caring about what happens to the characters in the final episode.

This show is made for watching in 3 or 4 bursts (it's less than 6 hours of total content)...many of the jokes go across episodes.

Highly recommended.

Is this the thread where I can anonymously profess my undying love for New Girl? I just can't quit you, Zooey. This show has some damn funny moments and has me lauging hysterically at least once every other episode. I would classify it as bingeworthy.

My wife loves this show and it does have some very funny moments

I've watched a bunch of stuff on instant lately. Here are some of the good ones:

Rising Son: Christian Hosoi - anyone into the 80s skateboarding should love this. A lot of stuff I never knew about Hosoi in this doc. Good skating footage, and a good story.
This was really enjoyable to me. Really ties in the skateboard scene from where Dogtown and Z-Boys leaves off until the start of the X-Games. Hosoi himself is a great story and the battles between him and Tony Hawk were amazing, a true contrast of styles. The Technician in Hawk versus the Artist in Hosoi.
:goodposting: completely agree
Watched "Bones Brigade: An Autobiography" this weekend. Stacy Peralta who directed Dogtown and Z-Boys also directs this one. If you liked Dogtown and Z-Boys, I think you will like this one even better. These are the guys that I grew up reading about in the magazines. The guys that would show up in Thrashin' and Gleaming the Cube. The story of Rodney Mullen and Tony Hawk stand out, but all of it is entertaining.

Happy Valley, a BBC/Netflix series, just released last night.

Pilot was pretty good. Great work from the making actress (Sarah Lancashire) and an interesting premise.

Seems like it could be on par with Top of the Lake
just finished, highly recommended
Just finished it as well, brilliant but very dark.

Thanks for talking about it because I never would have know about it without this.
"Hinterland" is pretty good too. Another BBC cop show, this time set in Wales.

Hansel and Gretel witch hunters has the unintentional comedic feel but it will take a few years to get there. Right bow its just an awful mess.

"In A World..."

Really enjoyed this comedy. Went in with no expectations and was pleasantly surprised. Very clever writing, great cast, interesting subject.

Finished "Hello Ladies" the other day. While I like Stephen Merchant a lot, he's funniest with Gervais. I appreciate him trying to step out on his own here and carve out some space for himself. However, this show was mostly a miss. It had potential but they mostly played it safe.

HIstory of the Eagles.

I missed this when it was a two part documentary on Showtime.

Three hours of awesome if you're an Eagles fan. Very well done.

Like him or not, Glenn Fry is honest about how things were. Its pretty much his band.

We watched "A Simple Plan" last night.. Ummmm. yea "simple"

Really enjoyed it from start to finish.. IMO, the way they handled the ending was so anti-Hollywood it made the movie that much better..

Anybody see the Netflix original "The Short Game?" It is about 7 and 8 year olds pursuit of being world champions at Pinehurst. Very interesting and the parents are exactly how you think they would be.

Underrated film, I think.
Love BBT in that
saw this when it was in the theatre. great performance by BBT.
Loved the book, liked the movie. But that has to be the dumbest looking dvd cover ever.

I don't currently have Netflix streaming, only DVD's. How can I check the list of available titles on streaming?
