I'm 7 episodes into Babylon Berlin and I'm having a tough time keeping up with the plot. There's a lot of characters and the subtitles don't help either.
Am I the only one?
Same here. I don't think its as good as some people in this thread made it to be.

The Rain

Post-apocalyptic, Danish show about a virus that is carried by rain. Pretty good.
I've watched 6 episodes. It's decent but I'm seeing many similarities to the Walking Dead. Just replace walkers with rain.

Even has cannibals, Just didn't take 12 episodes to build up to it.

:) Pretty easy to see where this is going after the death at the end of episode 6 and I'm usually oblivious to these twists.   I like that they aren't afraid to kill off main characters.

New show with Michael C Hall (Dexter) called Safe.

British crime show, one episode in and really good so far.
We're two in... decent enough to keep watching. Nothing Dr Foster level stupid yet...

If you guys aren't watching The Terror on AMC, you're missing a great show.
I've watched a few... Looks great, acted well, but something not grabbing me yet- dunno...a bit slow, with nothing but music and directorial choices to move it along at times.

Does the rain hide under dumpsters?

I just found out this is a Harlen Coben story.  And it's his second Netflix show, the first being The Five.

Have to check these out...

I watched 2 episodes and that was it. The ship froze in the ice, they were going to be stuck all winter, and they were going to die. Lost interest in seeing the details.

I finished Safe and like it enough to start The Five (both Harlan Coben projects). It's good if you pay real close attention which I didn't. So I went back and reviewed the first three episodes (after the ep6 ending) and now it all seems predictably unpredictable.

There's a show on Netflix that just aired last August starring Micheal Rappoport called Atyical. It's a dark comedy about an autistic HS student with Aspergers (Which I have) and came across the show accidentally while on Vacation in Toronto trying to find something to watch before I went to bed. It's a dark comedy that shows the struggles of both family and person dealing with the issue but has a comedic relief to it. My dad it's hard to get him to laugh at TV these days but this show had him cracking up within the first episode. Only this and Big Bang really get him going. Season 2 is approve and should be out around the same time in the summer.

I also just finished Turned on Netflix that was a very good show about General Washington and the first American Spies.

Atypical was a good watch. Do you think it gets the life with and around asbergers right?

my lady and i have liked troy fall of a city on netflix it has a lot of battle scenes which i like becuase who does not like battle scenes no one that is who take that to the bank bromigos

Sorry but this thread has passed you by.  It is now the all-encompassing tv thread.
My comment was more of a softball cheap shot I couldn't pass up.  However, I would argue the thread is more of al all-encompassing streaming thread, than all TV.  But, my backlog of shows to watch is so large I don't pay that much attention anymore.  If I'm wrong, so be it.

I made it through a season and a half of Mr Robot and bailed. I guess I could revisit but I really got tired of long scenes of him in bed crazy eyed having a delusional self talk. Then on the bus. He's too freaky looking to get so much close up face time.

Amazon keeps recommending Fearless so I gave it a try. Legal crime drama probably headed for courtroom drama -- I'm hooked after three episodes. Pretty standard formula. Do good rebel attorney trying helping a convict she believes is innocent... but there's some deeper sinister government stuff going on keeping turning pages.

Count me in with those who think Babylon Berlin is overhyped. I just can't get into to so I've bailed.

I didn't think it was too bad. I enjoyed it more when I put aside the mental comparisons between the 60's version and this version.
I thought the way Parker Posey's character was written, with strictly create conflict for the plot actions, killed the season. Without her character (and I like her as an actress, but she was given #### to work with), the show would've been fine... Especially as a family show. Some other goofily written stuff, but excusable if it's not trying to elevate to strictly adult fare.

And really, the season wasn't lost in space at all... they knew where they were and had a bunch of buddies with them. Looks like S2 might bring more of the "lost" back.

Been watching Into the Badlands recently.  Kind of corny and over the top with the blood fountaining, but still entertaining.
I have watched every episode this.  I am unsure why I keep coming back to it, but I think it falls into that Z Nation category of being just fun enough to continue watching.

I watched the first season and tried starting the second but couldn't get into it. It was visually really well done and I didn't mind Malek but it just wasn't enough to keep me interested.
