Sounds awful. Good thing you're almost finished.

If I'm starting a series, I can almost always spot awfulness in a few minutes, and that's all I'm willing to commit.
They made so many weird decisions, early on even, that I kind of stuck it out to see what strange things would happen next. Sure enough, the odd choices remained consistent throughout.

So bad. I watched the whole thing too, no idea why. Really really awful.
I have to wonder, once they've finished filming, can they see that what they've got doesn't work and they produce it and release it anyway because they've already got a large sunk cost, or can they just not see it's not very good? Seems like that's sort of been the Netflix model - give things a try, if they suck, they suck and we don't do another set of episodes.

I've started the Medici series with Robb Stark and - Dustin Hoffman? Getting a similar vibe here. I was amused that in the second episode of this, Cosimo (played by Richard Madden the actor who played Robb Stark in Game Of Thrones) gets into an arranged marriage in which the father of the bride is played by none other than the actor who played Walder Frey in Game Of Thrones. I'd love to see the outtakes of their scenes together in this one.

Also, Happyish. Stars Steve Coogan, written by the hilarious author Shalom Auslander.
I'm a big fan of Coogan but this was pretty tepid work from him. It felt like a waste of time for him. For my money, I still think his best series was "Saxondale" and his best film was "Tristram Shandy". He's so talented but I'm almost tired of waiting for him to break out at long last.

We're a couple into this. Enjoyed S1, but this is a hilarious Trainwreck...TWD style. Does it get less goofy?
So I did E3 last night and it made me think what if Dr Foster was a detective whose son may or may not know about a pedophile ring while her life implodes around her. I'm in for the finish because I'm attracted to messed up but trying their best women and Anna Friel is just nailing my type.

Btw...I mentioned Trainwreck, right? literally.

 and yet, still watching

I just stumbled upon some nude scenes of Anna Friel in a show called the Girlfriend Experience?

Safe

Michael C Hall (Dexter) plays a widow whose teenage daughter goes missing. 2 episodes in and I’m in for the long haul. He has a good British accent as well.

Hoping I can get some help.

I am taking a plane trip and I want to download a series to my Amazon fire tablet. I know how to download movies from netflix and I see where I can download one episode at a time. My question is- is there anyway to download an entire series in one click or do I have to do it episode by episode? Thanks

Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt is what I want to download. Figure that would be good airplane viewing.

We wrapped it up (Marcella) last night. It's a wreck. Would be campy funny(er) if the subject wasn't as grim as it as is (suicide, child molestation, child mass-murder...and those are lighter ones). Even a

Yup. I also finished up last night and I was cheering for her to do it, but no... we get season 3 with the joker in a a year... sigh.

I don't want to, but dammit... i just saw Wynona Earp season 2 is on Netflix. First season was a guilty pleasure.

Still looking for a comedy my wife and I will both enjoy. Parks and rec could be, we've never watched it. We loved the Santa Clarita diet.

I'd suggest skipping S1 of Parks and Rec.  It's only 6 episodes and pretty terrible...they made big changes in S2.

I tried starting from when the show made changes and brought Rob Lowe in as was suggested in this thread. We watched 4 or 5 episodes and a couple of chuckles but no real laughs. Neither of us wanted to continue.

We finished Wild Wild Country last night and really enjoyed it. While I have heard Bhagwan referenced over the years, I really knew nothing of the story. Kinda surprised I didn't considering how big it got. I thought the show might have leaned a little too sympathetic to the group at times, it was well done and got better as each episode passed. Crazy, fascinating story.

Sorry, but I thought I just read that someone didn't like Parks and Rec.

Maybe my internets are getting signals confused.

Others have said that, but as soon as I saw it was a cult, I never bought into the impartiality they were trying to sell.  I knew who the bad guys were in all the interactions.

Just got done with a suspension so sorry if mentioned...

Not great movies but pretty good for Netflix...

Kill the Irishman, based on a true story Irish and Italian gangsters in Cleveland. Bunch of familiar actors in this although never seen the main actor before.

Small Town Crime, disgraced former cop tried to find redemption, stars John Hawkes (Kenny Powers brother from eastbound & down)

And if you have AP and are a Burt Reynolds fan you might want to check out the last movie star... Also has the chick from modem family with her ### hanging out the entire movie
