Finished the Hulu comedy series, "Ramy, last night. Pretty good even if it isn't huge laughs. More a comedy like "Master of None" but not as artfully rendered. Still good even if it takes a   turn in the final episode of the season.

Also, watched "Late Night" movie with Emma Thompson and Mindy Kaling on Prime. Not awesome but perfect lighter fare. I love Emma Thompson in pretty much any role.

PASS.

Somehow I started in with the "Ressurcation: Ertugrul" series. It's total Turkish state propaganda, the subtitles are atrocious, the pace is bad, much of the acting is laughable (like I find myself laughing at the performances and they're not intended as comedy), the characters are almost non-dimensional caricatures, the writing is both incredibly simplistic and improbable (even given that we know the title character can't die - at least until he fathers Osman -  if any sort of historical integrity is to be maintained), the action sequences are straight out of Xena Warrior Princess, and there are all other kinds of issues. Yet I keep watching it to see what happens next. :bag:

New Steven Soderbergh movie The Laundromat drops tomorrow.

It's his take on the Panama Papers and got pretty mixed reviews in limited release.

Just watched 1st episode of Living with Yourself on Netflix. About 10 minutes in it reveals a huge NFL secret.

Shows great isn't it?  I keep expecting Monty Python holy Grail with the knight.

They get sliced in the arm very next day holding the sword in battle.  Get stabbed multiple times and sword drawn through ya.  Up in walking two days later.  It's great.  Although I'm disappointed I'm not able to speak their language with how many episodes I've watched.

“Tell Me Who I Am” was pretty well done, but I need some kind of happy palate cleanser after watching it.
One of those Monty Python reunions usually does it for me. Netflix does not do comedy well. Even the better standup shows are bummer-based anymore, with all that personal journey crap

Pretty good watch I think.  But then I'll watch just about anything with Paul Rudd, sometimes referred to as Tom Hanks Jr.

Enjoying "Schitt's Creek" as lighter fare. I think Eugene Levy is pretty funny in pretty much anything but paired with O'Hara, his son (who is very funny in his own right), and others is good for laughs.
