StubHub or Vivid Seats for Tickets? (1 Viewer)

Looking to buy a pair of NFL (Bucs) tickets in Nov. and nothing available thru normal Bucs channels. So I turned my search to an online ticket broker service Stub Hub and Vivid Seats. Vivid Seats are about $40 cheaper but not liking some of the reviews. Anyone have any experiences with them vs Stub Hub, seems Stub Hub is more established. The exact same seats are listed on both sites, how can that be possible. Any scam alerts from them.

Had an awful experience with Stub Hub... Don't know much about Vivid Seats.

I use stub hub a lot and I have been very happy with them. I hadn't heard of vivid seats until the other week when I was looking for tickets to an Orioles game and the prices on stub hub were higher than normal (public shool spring break). I found that the tickets on vivid were some of the same tickets that were on stub hub, but there were a lot less available and they were more expensive than stub hub. I can only assume people were listing tickets on both sites and the fees for selling must have been higher on vivid.

Vivid is a newer site that's gaining some momentum. Fees are cheaper to sellers so you may find a better deal there, but selection will be quite a bit smaller. Pay attention to the fees that Vivid tacks on at the end of the transaction as Stubhub shows the total price upfront nowadays, Vivid does not. Both sites are fine and legitimate.

Seats will be listed on both sites because brokers list everywhere to gain more exposure. If they really are the same seats, you'll see the listing disappear on one site shortly after you purchase them through a different site.

Ticketexchange is the best, imo. Lower fees for the seller (although stubhub just dropped their price), but its a secure transaction... no shipping, nothing. Piece of cake.

Also, wait. Tix will be most expensive right now. I have season tix to Bronco games that I sell... as soon as possible, I get the games I wont go to on the market at a really high price... i've got all summer to sell them, no need to unload them now.

I'd look Ticket Exchange/Bucs site, Ebay, then Stubhub.

I'd wait til much closer to the game itself also (even game day itself). You'll find a ton more available, better seats at a better price.

If the team is good they will be expensive as hell. If they are going through another 4-12 season you can get in for a 20 spot.

In 2010 when the Bucs were good I spent roughly 4 times more than I did in 2011 when they were awful. (I scalp all the games or buy seasons every year).

No offense but you don't know what you're talking about. That Packers game is basically sold out now. I don't think you can buy individual seats except for 317 or 319 now. Those are the worst parts of the stadium.

You are correct these tixs I'm looking at are mid field visitors side in the 335 to 337 section approx. 10 rows up and tixs are in the $124 each range total. Wait or pull the trigger on this? If you try to buy thru the Bucs/ticketmaster nothing is available except single seats in the 300 sections and nothing else except the high price brokers resale. Really want to bring my son to this game since it's been 4 yrs since this match up.
