I'm sure many of us are anxiously awaiting Josh Gordon. It will be interesting to see if he lives up to the hype or is just another mid-level WR.

Have to admit I'm making a series of assumptions there.

When I read his comment I took it to understand that he was one of the ones interested to see if Gordon would work out or not. I further assumed that meant he had selected him as part of his team for this contest. My implication that he looked pretty smart was simply meant to say that anyone who selected him for their team (including presumably EPL) looks smart as Gordon appeared to show potential and could end up outperforming his value.

It was a very ineffective/confusing way of recognizing Gordon's performance this week.

If P. Manning keeps up anything close to his current pace, does this become a contest between people that own Manning with everyone else on the outside?

I doubt it with the new scoring. I'd rather have a QBBC plus Jordon. You could probably say the same thing about Graham. Of course there are teams with all of these guys but their RBs are thin.

P. Manning, Graham, Cook, J. Thomas, Shady, Forte, MJD, B. Powell, J. Bell.... it is my WRs that are thin.

I barely survived this week, and don't expect to last much longer. My team sucks. I guess the only reason to have any hope is that my top WR Roddy White hasn't counted for me yet due to injury, and my top TE Gronkowski hasn't even played yet. I suppose if both of those guys get back on the field and start playing to the level I paid for, my outlook won't be as bad as it looks now. It would also help if Lacy gets back on the field and/or David Wilson starts living up to the hype.

Oh well, I'm pretty much at peace with the fact that my team isn't long for this contest. I just don't have as much time to invest in it this year.

Did anyone download my DB and plan to post some updates now that we've made it through our first elimination week? I could post some of the usual stats (e.g. survival rate by roster size) but probably won't get to it until the end of the week.

Still eyeing week 8 as my final week, not sure the Spiller/Wilson combo is gonna get me past it.

Choosing Charles and McCoy over Spiller and T Richardson...went back and forth on these pairs, and decided to go with the players from the better overall offenses.

Investing in Jimmy Graham and Calvin Johnson...I was going to use all cheap WR, but I decided to tick up to Calvin and assume he'd play every week...that paired with another big success:

- $2 WR: Hankerson, Avant, and Thompkins have all counted already

- $2 TE: Julius Thomas

That's not the way the contest rules seem to read. I've sent a copy to Joe B as well (Dodds has a full e-mail box). Scoring isn't final until tonight at 11:59pm.

I'm fine either way, contest-wise. But that was a defensive score by the Bengals. Whatever they decide they decide but I wanted to alert them given what the rules state.

192.1 this week, so easily on to next week. Just need 1 more week since Gronk and Blackmon are still on the bench. Those two, plus Kaep, M.Austin, Kerley, D.Wilson, and Forbath have given me 2 scores in 3 weeks. Still mad about not realizing that the 1st two weeks meant nothing, because no way I would have gone Kerley and Austin had I known I could have had Gordon instead. I figured Gordon, Gronk and Blackmon was way too risky, but that was pretty dumb of me. I would have had another $4 left over and might not have made the David Wilson error.

Glad I went TE heavy with Gronk, Graham and J.Thomas, I think when Gronk is healthy, that could be a boon for the 2 flex spots.

This is exactly it. It's a technicality. Not saying it's right or wrong. Personally I think Cincy should get credited for a Defensive TD.

If they do decide to change the scoring, it looks like the cut line would move up to 133.1.

This would cause 52 teams who are currently safe to drop below the cut. And 47 teams below the cut would rise above it.

Like my QB trio. Hope Charles and Lacy can carry RB until Wilson stops fumbling and Bernard takes over for BGE. WR is a minor weakness, but I only need 2 each week. TE is a strength. I feel like I'll get at least 1 flex from the TE every week. Always have 3 kickers and 3 Def/ST.

196 last week. 243 this week (#33 overall). However, Lacy hurt, Wilson still not getting the carries. Think Bernard will get more touches every week. Bullock is awful, Forbath hurt, Redskins Def/ST blows. This is why I always take 3/3 .

Dez,Julio, and my TE trio carrying my team so far. Still like my QBs as long as Vick is healthy.

222.35 this week. Eli blows, but Vick keeps saving the day, even on an off week. Charles and Bernard getting good points at RB, which is a good thing with Lacy hurt/on a bye and Wilson sucking. Julio and Dez still the WR anchor, but we had a Kembrell Tompkins sighting, so I didn't even need Dez this week, as my dynamic TE trio once again accounted for my two flex scores. Panthers had a big week, but they are off week 4. No points from Forbath (inj) or Brown (Giants blow), so again glad I took 3 kickers and 3 def/ST.

This RB fail seems to be an annual occurrence for me in this contest.

I'm averaging 22.7 pts per week from the RB spots combined, and have gotten worse each week...I haven't even had an RB break 15 pts.

For some reason I do pretty well at QB and WR every year, but struggle with RB and TE. However, this year my TE spots are pretty solid (except I missed the boat on Thomas).

Subscribers have until Week 4 to deposit to Fanduel and qualify, so I wouldn't expect to see any designation until after that.
