Subscriber Contest to be Unveiled by Wednesday Morning (1 Viewer)

on the week 10 results page, it says 9.5%, so that would be 309 people........fair to say its close to the tool you mention.

What's the querier tool?

I ran some numbers this morning. No guarantee of the accuracy (due to some teams changing names during course of the season), but they should be pretty close.

Of the 3,250 teams remaining:

Avg Weekly Score of all 3,250 teams --> 177pts (9.42pt StdDev)

Avg Weekly Score of Top50 teams --> 200pts

Top Avg Weekly Score --> 206pts (DALEKS)

Avg Weekly Score of Team#50 --> 197.51

Avg Weekly Score of Team#100 --> 195.07

Avg Weekly Score of Team#250 --> 191.02

Avg Weekly Score of Team#500 --> 186.63

Avg Weekly Score of Team#1000 --> 181.82

Lowest Weekly Avg Score --> 134.45 (Kaalucat)

Estimate Cutoffs based on % score increases from years past:

Week10: 139.15

Week11: 148.20

Week12: 158.65

Week13: 165.31

Basically, In my amateur, back-of-the-envelope estimate, if your average weekly score is under 175, you really don't have much hope...

Avg 197 but very dependent on a few guys. With bye's and injuries. I should be out this week but most likely next. Cool contest.

To many late week 11/12 bye guys.

few years ago, somebody had a site that was keeping somewhat live scoring going........is that still around?

427 owners with Peyton Manning

478 owners with Demaryius Thomas...

... and 91 of those folks have both.... ya lucky b@stards.....

Well, sitting at 127.10 after the 4:00 games with a few players to go...

127.10

+

L. Miller (-3.6)

+

B. Hartline (-4.5)

+

J. Graham (-1.1)

Hoping to move on to Week 11!

This has been my worst week of the year, with only Pierre Garcon and Julius Thomas coming through with more than 12 points. Fortunately, having a deep roster I've been lucky enough to have a lot of players with 10-12 points, giving me 134 with Tony Romo as my only active QB. Assuming he has even an average game, I feel pretty good about moving on to next week.

Not looking good so far this week, 60 points right now, don't have a whole lot left either.
Very low scoring week thus far.
Any guess how low? I need a crazy low cutoff to survive. I am really short at WR with a bunch of byes and Blackmon being suspended. Also with Vick, Bradford, and Brady as my QB's I am taking a 0.
Last week the cutoff was 133.65. I can't see the cutoff being higher than the previous week, but that's just a guess.

I'm sitting at 97.7, with 3 players left to play.

Romo (0)

Bryant (-5.3)

Graham (-1.6)

All 3 players should count, baring injuries. I should end up close to the cutoff, but I might be out this week if the last 3 guys don't perform well.

Commenting on the bolded part, there are 2 more teams playing this week, so the cut should bump some based just on that. We are actually eliminating a slightly lower percentage of remaining teams this week too, so that will help slightly. My guess is that 140 is the magic number to be looking for but don't be surprised if it's 140-145 either.

After the late games, it's 117. Assuming 10 points or so for tonight's game, and a little less for tomorrow (probably not a lot of action on the Bucs and Dolphins) , the cutoff should be around 130-135.

Also had some high scoring teams last week on bye in Detroit and Denver.

111 teams with Murray... :thumbup:

The three folks above are really the only players on Tampa that are worth tracking now that were in the September contest list.

Based on what I am seeing, looks like the line will not move much at all tomorrow with the low ownership of the players. Hartline probably would affect the most change at this point.

Going strong at 181.25.. special shout outs to Gio, MJD, Tate, Hauschka.. and a special guest appearance from the previously AWOL Andre Roberts :thumbup: :

Yeah, I really only have the cut line moving 2 pts based on tonights game (130.65).

Ugh. No QB, and DeSean Jackson being my only WR to show up means that I am at 123.6 with only Daniel Thomas -6.5 to go.

Would need around 50 yards and a TD to even get it close...

Need a big game tonight out of Lamar Miller to stay alive. At 105, with just him to go. My worst week by far (previous low was 156), and put up around 180 each of the previous three weeks. Charles's bye week, and Lacy, K.Allen, and Gonzo all put up stinkers for me.

I am sitting at 135.85 with no one left. Oh well, this is the furthest I have ever made it and I will not make it much longer anyway because Wilson is my only QB left and he has a bye coming up. I was doing well, but injuries caught up to me in a hurry.

Good luck to the rest of you.

I think we'll see you in Week 11 imo.

At 132.7, despite having to start Lance Moore and Christine Michael. AJ Green's hail mary is the only thing keeping my chances alive this week. Hoping I can squeak by.

Awesome.

I finally decide my roster has a shot this year and start posting in the thread last week. :wall:

This week it tanks and I get of of the way for the rest of you. :wall:

Crappernick and Romo combined put up 15, only 10 of which counted.

Neither Bush nor Lacy could find the end zone against teams with less than stellar run D's.

Dez went down with Romo.

The Rams somehow blow out the Colts allowing Cook to be removed from the offense.

Just.

Not.

Good.

Is it time for the playoff pool yet?

I'm at 131 and some change.

Thanks to the pathetic effort from the Cowboys, I'm out. I'm beginning to understand why people hate Romo and that team.
I scored 125 and will be exiting the contest.. Thanks to Romo and Dez Bryant for their pathetic effort. I bet a good amount of people went down with Romo and Bryant this week.

Sneaking through for another week, which I believe means that this is the longest I've ever lasted in this contest. But with just Kaepernick and Vick manning the QB position for me, it's probably just delaying the inevitable.

I simply cannot believe what a bad football coach jason garrett is. All I needed was 25 points from romo against the saints defense. 125 and out. Ugh.

Only had 3 receivers go this week - but they were Andre, Demayrius, and Tavon Austin :cool:

Going to take some luck to keep going though, my depth is pretty bad, especially at QB (Romo, Manuel, Vick)

Same exact thing for me....the Cowboys really f'ed me. A combined 15-16 points of those two.
