I didn't plan on spending a lot on Manning. But this was a luxury I could afford because of the RB tiers. I figured that as good as the top 3 RB are, they are too expensive. So once I decided that the top 3 RB were too pricey, it was a lot easier to afford Peyton. I like Delhomme as a backup, and I still think he's one of the more underrated fantasy QBs.

I think Rudi represented great value here. I was about to spend the $$ on Ronnie Brown or Steven Jackson, but the thought of using a RB that didn't have a proven track record didn't appeal to me. Of course, Chester has never been a starter, but $30 is pretty cheap considering how good that Minn offensive line is. As for Gore, I just think he is an awesome value for $10.

I think some contestants are undervaluing WRs in this format. With Fitz and Housh, I have great one two punch. And I think Jones or Johnson will prove to outshine their APD. I also beleive that Stokley, Gabriel or Curry will provide excellent value considering they all play of good passing teams.

As I look at this, I realize the MOST I paid for a player was $26 - at any position. I suppose I went with a "blue collar" strategy: no real studs (Palmer could qualify) and platooning my positions, hoping someone will rise to the top each week. Depth, Baby... Depth!! (rinse and repeat)

A couple sure studs that sure were not sure studs yesterday. haha Hopefully enough mid depth to make it to finals.
Then filled in the gaps with basement bottom bargin sleepers.
Never made it past week 8 in past. Hopefully this will be my year but Palmer/Alexander sure were not much help yesterday!
