Successful after Achilles injury? (1 Viewer)

Just wondering who has been able to come back from an Achilles injury and have a successful season, maybe not right away, but even in the 2nd year.

I picked up Spikes in my league and then started to get curious since Arrington is rehabing that too. We always talk about ACL's, so just wondering about the Achilles.

Brandon Stokley & Jon Jansen I think came off that injury.

I'm no doctor but from what I've seen it seems to take 2 years to come back from that. 1st year to heal and the next year to get baack into shape because you can't really workout with it.Vinny Julian PetersonMaurice Taylor (nba)are a few that i know that have come back from that.

Marino - Came back from missing 11 games in 93 (more than his entire career at that point as he played 8 full years out of 9) and posted
Code:
385 615 62.6 4453 30 17

You talking about a guy who didn't move. He played with a ski boot man. :lmao:

Let's see...what QB's have had this injury?

Vinny T - had two 3500+ yard seasons after it happened.

Dan Marino had four 3400+ yard seasons after his injury, including one 4400+ season.

From a QB standpoint, a productive recovery looks promising.

My thoughts exactly since you dont have to do alot of extraordinary thing with your feet at qb. Any other position i dont think it can be done in a year.
