Could appeal and still play this weekend though.

Suh will appeal, and play this week. He will take a video of the Yates kicking the other guy in the groin and say he didn get any games. then get the suspension reduced to 1 game, and sit out against the Vikings. just my thoughts.

Expedited appeal process if appealed. Would be heard this week so I doubt he plays even if appealed.

Didn't the Benson appeal take several weeks to complete? The issues were obviously much different in that case than in this one but I would think it would take at least a week to sort itself out if Suh wanted to challenge it.

Got what he deserved. I think Suh thinks because he can speak intelligently that he can somehow talk his way out of what he does on the field. He is not as smart as he thinks he is.

This guy is a piece of sh@@, plain & simple. Should have been suspended for remainder of regular season. Just another thug.

I just can't see Roger reducing with that defense. So if I get a speeding ticket and my defense is there were other speeding the judge reduces my ticket. No matter what happened in the game, it doesn't excuse he lost his cool.

One of the NFL shows today on ESPN reported that IF he appeals, the appeal will be heard on Friday and the decision will be made swiftly thereafter.Suh would be wise to bite the bullet.

Might be the first time a player appeals and gets handed more time off

"You know what, after thinking about it a while I've decided to make it a 4 game suspension"

Will be interesting to see what the league serves up the next time Suh loses his head. Will start to get hefty pretty fast from here I'd think.

Well tought out reasoning here as well.

Suh is just playing in the wrong decade. Suh should have been part of the Steel Curtain.

Too many cameras, too may whiney players, Suh was a 60s, 70s type of player.

Yeah...all those guys stomped guys after the whistle all the time...and nobody ever did a thing about it.

This play is way worse than what Suh did.

A. What does Jared Allen have to do with Suh?B. What does Jared Allen have to do with the 60s or 70s type of player that I was responding about?

C. Can we quit the "well, this guy did this and its worse" crap?

D. Looked bad, but watch in slow mo and you see a guy coming off a block during the play and falling as he moves towards the QB. I don't think he intentionally tried to hurt Schaub at all. He was fined $50,000 for the hits in that game and was warned he would be suspended.

http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?id=3712895

"When Allen received that fine, he was warned he could face possible suspension if he had any future questionable hits. Allen said Wednesday that he was not planning on changing his style of play.

"No, nothing that happened was intentional. Most of those hits I was falling to the ground and I try to pull up," he said. "I'm not going to change the way I play. I'm going to play hard from snap to whistle and keep playing football.""

Notice he says from snap to whistle. Also a big distinction.

Just heard on The Ticket that it is looking like Suhs appeal may knock it down to only one game.

Looks like the NFL does not want the Top DL vote getter for the Pro-Bowl to miss much time.

It was mostly settled on the field and not the Commish's office. That is the difference.

Agreed...which is why most those guys then would not do what Suh did either...because they knew their knees would be taken out soon after.

Where was all the outrage when Robinson kicked Lang in the nuts after the whistle..right in front of the ref and did not even get ejected? Suhs stomp did not even connect.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HgyKJprL5V8

So because Robison did not get ejected or suspended during his only real penalty this year like this...Suh should be fine?Suh's stomp did not even connect? Again hilarious the defense some of you have for that. It did in FACT connect to EDS' arm. But keep up the good fight.

and your opinion has nothing to with you being a packers fan huh?did he do something wrong? sure, he got a little to rough with a player. he already lost half a game.i dont think he should be suspended at all, just fined.

The fact that he appealed this tells me that he hasn't learned one thing from this incident. If he had, he would take his medicine and be glad he got off this easy. Mark my words, this will not be the last time we hear about Suh in hot water.

Everybody appeals..Big Ben appealed his rape suspension and got it knocked down. It is standard procedure.

Not really...it does not affect the Packers whether he is suspended or not.Id rather him not be suspended and get a few shots on Brees and try to help Detroit beat them. The Robison kick was against a Packer too...and probably should have been suspended.

Absolutely true. Of course if this was honest arbitration there would be the possibility of a longer suspension being imposed, but thats never happened. Couldn't happen to a nicer guy though.

That proves it. The Packers' players are obviously doing something heinous enough to provoke opposing players to react with uncommon violent responses. I blame the Packers organization. The team should be suspended for at least 2 games (retroactive to last week, of course). Suh is the victim here!!!

Lang probably did (article on him yesterday on JSOline from an old position coach had some nice info on him and the coach thought he probably did something to provoke). As for EDS...only thing he did was pancake the crap out of Suh. :)

Two games for Suh..it is final.

NFL DL should take note..aim for the nuts not the forearm if you don`t want to get suspended.
