Summerpalooza V -- Playoffs Over -- Eephus Is Now Two-Time Summerpalooza Champion (2 Viewers)

no doubt. I’m project 85 and the win. That feels dirty.
I haven't looked at my Katmankoo score, because I know it has to be ugly. I've had a stressful day (non-fantasy related), and I concluded it tonight by driving away from the colony with my phone on my bumper. I realized I did that once I got home, and I backtracked and found it in the road. The screen is cracked, but it still works. I'll take that as a win.

I saw my shoulder Dr's PA on Sept. 9th. She told me she was going to put in a referral for a few physical therapy sessions to teach me some exercises to do for my shoulder. She asked if I wanted to go to the PT place in my city, and I said yes. She said someone from that office would be contacting me to schedule an appointment. I asked her again before I left if it was correct that the PT office would contact me, and she said yes. A week goes by and I hear nothing. I sent a message on MyChart this morning to my Dr/Surgeon's office, and tell them I wasn't sure if the PT place just hasn't gotten to me yet, but I have not heard from them to schedule some PT sessions. The nurse writes back and ask if I have called them to schedule. I write her back and say no, because I was told I would be contacted, and I have no idea where this place is in my city or the name of it. She writes back and gives me a number to call. That irks me. I call the number, and the lady tells me that she can see where the Drs office put in a referral, but they mistakenly entered it as completed. She said she would call them today for them to put in another referral, and someone would call me within 24 hours to schedule some sessions. I wrote the nurse back and told her what I was told. :hot:

Let me know if you need me to give them the Ticketmaster treatment. :gang1:

I'm watching the pregame show for the Bills game, which I never do and it's some bastardized mix of ESPN's Monday Night Countdown and Fanduel Infomercial. They're calling it TSN Sunday Countdown presented by FanDuel and it seems to be all the ESPN content but when it would be showing commercials, it's all Fanduel betting segments, so there's no commercials but it's all a FanDuel commercial. I assume this is only in Canada

We’ve got the usual ESPN talking heads… Progressive Monday Night Kickoff it just said.. and then regular ads , no fanduel

I feel like I could pick up a Bills right tackle or left guard and get more points than from some of my scrubs. The Bills are just that good and/or my players are just that bad.
The Bills are great. I hope the game next week against the Dolphins is fun and competitive.
It's gonna be like 150 total points. Wait, except their defense is great, too. Going to be so fun.

I don't like ketchup and mustard, by the way, but that was just funny to me.

I really need to work on my love of condiments. I just don't like them. Mayo, ketchup, mustard, relish, raw onions -- pretty much all of that stuff you get out of machines at the ballpark. Hate them. They do indeed smell bad.

You don't see the problem here? That is not fine dining.

Of these, the only one I can stomach is mustard. But I do celebrate the entire mustard catalog.

This is virtually the exact opposite of my position. I’m not sure there is any food that’s not made better by a condiment or sauce.

I used to be heavily anti-condiment. My brother would put gobs of ketchup on his plate and it grossed me out. And mayo too, why you want eat a bunch of egg whites?

I do enjoy mustard, both good ones and cheap ballpark ones. And hot sauce/BBQ sauce can have its place. I'll eat vegan mayo too. Still can't do ketchup.

It's funny that my strategy is usually to wait at QB (that's what the talking heads tell me) but in the few leagues I jumped QB early (Josh, Lamar) I'm doing well, but when I waited (Russ) and waited (Jameis) I'm struggling.

I'm not a fan of mayonaise, but I don't mind it when a little is used as a mixer or to hold something together.

I cannot stand to smell condiments in my car, because I'm trapped inside with the smell in the air. If I ever drive somewhere of length and I have my nephews with me, they always want to go through a drive-thru and I ask three things: #1 Put your food wrappers back in the bag once finished #2 No using ketchup (or any other condiment) as a dipping sauce in the car. They all hate mustard so I don't worry about that, but they like ketchup, and the smell of it inside a vehicle makes me want to hurl. #3 Use a wipe or sanitizer on your hands. I don't want them smelling like condiments either, and a sauce may squeeze out of a bun on their fingers. #2 can be bargained with if one gets some type of chicken nugget that requires a dipping sauce. That hasn't happened often.

Two summers ago, three of my nephews were with me in the car going to the beach. One of them was sitting in the passenger seat beside me. He got a chicken sandwich and he didn't realize mayo came on it. So he finds out when we are on the road, and he takes the bun off and uses it as a scrapper to scrape the mayo off and on to the wrapper. He misses the wrapper, and the glob of mayo lands on the rubber floorboard mat. :yucky: He wipes it up with some wipes. When we return home a few days later, I forget about the incident until the next day when there is an army of ants in my car crawling all over that floorboard mat. I tripled washed that floorboard mat, and I had to put ant traps in my car, and it took about a week to kill those things.

Oh God. I'm no neat freak, but mayo-induced ants would totally get me. Gross.

It definitely freaked me out. I thought my nephew had gotten all the mayo up with the wipes. He used a lot of them. You couldn't see it or smell it anymore. I meant to wash the floor mat anyway upon returning home, but forgot about it. Apparently, ants have a very keen sense of smell, and remnants of mayo was still on that rubber floor mat. Since that happened, I always look around on the floors to see if I see any ants. PTSD

I don’t like relish, pickles, peppers or hot sauce. I don’t like yellow mustard except on soft pretzels but I’m ok with most other kinds of mustard. Otherwise I am all about condiments.

Somehow I am 2-0 despite being ridiculously thin at every position.

The commissioner of my first local league circa 1988 was named Tom Mayo. His team was the Condiments. Tom was a huge Niners homer who would reach for guys like Tom Rathman every year.

I like all of those. As far as relish goes, I'll try anyone's chow chow at farmers markets. I always put it on pinto or great northern beans. In the future I'm going to attempt to make my own.

I also have a weak spot for vinegar.

I like Buffalo sauce, but I never thought of either of those as condiments. I'm probably totally wrong
I think the #1 ingredient in most of the BBQ sauces here in NC is vinegar. I love that tang. I think ketchup and mustard usually have vinegar in them, which is part of the smell.

I always have a bottle of Frank's Red Hot on hand. I outgrew extremely high Scoville hot sauces so it's pretty much just Frank's and El Tapatio these days.

I consider salsa a condiment because I'm an inclusive kind of guy but there are probably those who disagree.

With apologies to Hot Sauce Guy here, who makes fantastic sauces, this has become my go-to, and it's not even close. Actually haven't even tried any other than the "original," which is sorta in the middle of the heat scale. I have several other hot sauces in the fridge (including Frank's and El Tapatio, which I love as well), but I always reach for this first.
