Wow, I don't know why I'm typing that this is enormous. Everybody knows that.
That was egregious. They HAVE to be able to review pass interference
They HAVE to be able to review pass interference
Yep - none of them wanted to change their own calls. How dare we expect them to get it right in the face of video evidence. They HAVE to be able to review pass interference
Dude, we tried that and it turned into a sit down strike for the officials. Remember?
Well, shucks, I guess we just quit trying to get things right and keep letting awful calls decide games at the end. They HAVE to be able to review pass interference

It does sound kind of bad when you say it out loud like thatWell, shucks, I guess we just quit trying to get things right and keep letting awful calls decide games at the end. They HAVE to be able to review pass interference

Huh?Well, shucks, I guess we just quit trying to get things right and keep letting awful calls decide games at the end.
Or we keep hollering at clouds. We had it in our grubby palms and the refs took it from us with their little ****fit sit-down-on-the-job thing they did.
I’m equally confused. @rockaction: is it possible you’re conflating the 2019 experiment with reviewable PI call with the 2012 referee strike? Or were you referring to something else?Huh?Well, shucks, I guess we just quit trying to get things right and keep letting awful calls decide games at the end.

Sooo, like last night?@ignatiusjreilly I think what he meant is when the NFL made PI reviewable, the refs agreed to pretty much never overrule calls unless the defender tagged another CB and did a Doomsday Device on a NFL WR.
Got it. I remember that no PIs ever got overturned that year, but hadn't realized it was because of the refs pushing back. Always thought the whole thing was weird, and it seemed pretty clear the league was never into the idea@ignatiusjreilly I think what he meant is when the NFL made PI reviewable, the refs agreed to pretty much never overrule calls unless the defender tagged another CB and did a Doomsday Device on a NFL WR. So basically nothing would ever get overturned, The NFL is response did nothing about it except end the experiment.
