Super Bowl LVI - Bengals vs Rams - Discussion & GAME Thread (1 Viewer)

I'm aware of his resume, but this is a franchise that in addition to Donald, had Deacon Jones, Jack Youngblood, and Merlin Olsen. Could make a case for Orlando Pace as well. Dickerson was elite, no question(he's my #6 RB of all-time) but he only played for the team for 4 years.

ETA: He's not the Rams leading rusher either, Steven Jackson is.
As I said it’s certainly subjective, and the player you name all have cases (JY was my favorite player as a kid, largely because he was my dads).  I feel good about my pick but regardless what the Rams did was pretty low.

I agree he’ll probably score some good tix. Especially after all the pub the interview brought. Squeaky wheel gets the grease and all that.

Zac Taylor has, by far, the worst regular season winning % of any HC to make Super Bowl:

0.337 - Zac Taylor, CIN, 2021
0.438 - Bill Walsh, SF, 1981
0.464 - Bill Belichick, NE, 2001
0.479 - Kyle Shanahan, SF, 2019
0.493 - Forrest Gregg, CIN, 1981
0.500 - Jimmy Johnson, DAL, 1992

-------------------------------------------------------

The good news?

Just look at that list, could be a harbinger of the beginning of great things for Taylor.

There are too many threads!

What’s everyone drinking today?  I just cracked my first, while I get the grill going. Western Flyer DDH West Coast DIPA @ 8%.

His start was inauspicious, to be certain. 2 wins, 4 wins? Yeesh.

He’s a pretty good coach. I wouldn’t hold that record against him. 😉

Drew Brees awkwardly standing there during the Dungy “discrimination” convo looking like, “should I chime in here?”, and wisely says nothing for like 5 mins.

Joe Cool becomes the new face of the league tonight (as much as it pains me to root against Staffy). In the end, I'll be happy for either of them.

Let's go.

The stadium sound seems off to me. Announcers sound fine. Anything coming from the stadium is way muted.

I wonder how many episodes of some Law and Order show has aired over the years? Incredible people are still tuning in.
Yeah, it really is. I went through a Law & Order phase right when I graduated from college. We'd watch that and Freaks and Geeks. Some good television.

The earlier episodes were a breeding ground for incredibly talented actors who went on to other things. The series Oz was littered with them.
Oh yeah I’ve seen many many episodes from the 90s and early 00s. I just can’t believe it’s still going.
