Super Bowl Party Game Ideas (1 Viewer)

We generally do a worksheet where you pick the winner, MVP, first TD, etc with a point value assigned to each and whoever scores the most points wins. But that is getting a bit dull so I am looking for ideas be it betting games, drinking games, trivia games, whatever.

1. We do a sheet with lists of prop bets.

2. Pass the football pool. Everyone throws in 2 bucks and then everyone gets 1 play with the ball and if a TD is scored they take the pot. If you are out of the room you cant win. Gotta be holding the ball.

Reception shot game. Throw all of the players that are likely to get a reception in a hat. Partygoers pick a player out of the hat. Reception = shot. You can have a community shot player too.

That could get ugly depending on the teams.Would be hilarous to watch some 95 pound chick get Larry Fitzgerald. :banned:

Yeah, we had a girl with Branch the year he got 10 catches. She was a trooper though

Nice. I'll be adding this one to the list.

I go to my buddy's party every year. I am in charge of prize pools. A bunch of non football fans show up, just there for the party. So I do,

$1 squares. hard to get people and get it filled out with constant explaining on how it works, so have to keep it low priced. Also we have $5 questions, I have to do multiple choice questions, for example, I can't do, "Who will win MVP?" because I will get questions like, "Who is playing?" "Who is good?".

So I'll do over under on game, who will score first and make them circle an answer. I try to split questions from to keep people interested in whole game.

I love it when me and my buddies get together and watch the game. After A few cases of beer, A game of tummy sticks usually ensues.

Any more ideas for Super Bowl party games? I am trying to put a website together of just games and could use more ideas, there really isn't much out there right now.

Pass the Hat. Everyone puts a dollar in a hat to start. Some one holds the hat. If a team scores on that "possession" the player keeps the money. If not it gets passed to the next person who puts a dollar in. Each person keeps putting a dollar in until eventually some one scores and the person holding the hat takes the pot. Start over. Just keep teh same pattern of passing it around.

A score is a TD, FG or safety.

I'll probably have about 5 or 6 guys over and was thinking of something similar but instead throw in $10 to start and give the pot to the guy who gets the highest combined score on all of his possessions.

It's not really a game but this year before people can come in to my house they have to kick this Billy Cundiff cutout in the groin.

I'm going to split your ####### uprights Billy!!!!!

That's nice. Do you call a timeout before you kick him?
Is Lee Evans face in your toilet?
Who will play the role of Harbaugh and the other coaches pushing and shoving each other in a panicked state? As long as someone is doing that stupid Ray Ray "dance"...its all good.

My buddies and I used to do something really similar in high school. We'd pass the cup on every 1st down and had all sorts of crazy rules to keep things interesting: 25 cents for an incomplete pass, 25 cents on a run for a loss, 50 cents for a sack, cup reverses direction on a fumble, skips the next person on an interception, cup holder puts in 50 cents for an offensive penalty, everyone not holding the cup puts in 25 cents on a defensive penalty, etc. There are so many mundane things you can link something crazy to it kept every game interesting.

Most of the websites out there have some pretty lame ideas or very little content. So I decided to make one, I'm launching it a little prematurely but with the Super Bowl so close I don't have much choice. Check it out if interested, I'll keep checking back here for more ideas to add and please share any feedback or errors.

Head to Head game drinking game!! The way to play is pick your team and then you pick 3 offensive players and 1 defensive player and each time the offensive player scores you take a shot (if at the bar the other guy buys the shot) and for Defense its 3 shots. Example below:

Team A: Brady,Gronk,Welker,Mayo

Team B: Manning,Nicks,Cruz,Rolle

Reception shot game was a blast. I had nicks, and today was brutal, but it was a good time

It was particularly funny with the person that had Pascoe. He was pissed cuz he figured he wouldn't even drink, and then he had two catches on the first drive (if I remember carefully)
