I was on the Marko bandwagon until he was cut by the Skins early this preseason. That seems to be a damning event.

The knock on him in Washington was that he could only run a couple routes. Maybe that's changed in his few months in Minnesota. But, if it hasn't, all his athleticism isn't going to do him much good if he can't even get on the field.

Good point. I've mostly been focused on the improvement to Berrian's status, but this certainly can't hurt Shiancoe as well.

Obviously this improves Berrian's status, but I'm sure he's already on a roster in most leagues. With Mitchell's speed and size you can't just ignore him. At least not yet, especially with the recent Rice news.
