Fair enough. So you aren't a fan of comics in general? Or just superman?

I like comics. I like Superman. Are you asking me this because I was disappointed with this new version of Superman and I shouldn't be if I liked the comics and Superman? I get that Krypto was introduced in the 50s and he has played a big part in the history.. I'm just saying when you bring a super dog with a cape onto the big screen in my opinion it brings a silliness with it. Imo

I'm asking you how something that is a part of the original comics could be so off-putting that you are out on a movie in 8 minutes. You're actions and words make me think you aren't a big fan of comics or Superman.

From an internet message board? I was simply trying to deescalate a happy place with good conversation. You may think I'm not cool, but that's okay, it's like my opinion man. I'm honestly not trying to catfight at all. Just converse. Educate me. I'll start. In my opinion the super dog with a cape might translate well in comics, but it just felt silly on screen.......

I thought so, too. But I did think Krypto worked better later on in the movie during certain action sequences. It was mainly that first scene where it felt jarringly silly, especially if you weren't ready for it from seeing that part in the trailers beforehand.

It's a movie about a guy who wears underwear on the outside of his spandex and can fly and shoot lasers from his eyes. I guess I don't draw the line at a flying dog.

About 30 minutes in. It’s awful. Also has some of the worst CGI I’ve seen in a decade.

What a hokey piece of crap this was. I never turn off movies early, but couldn't get through this debacle. Even my kids thought it was dumb. People liked this?

Like I originally said 30 minutes in I wanted to walk out of the theater….but my wife and son said stick it out…..by the end they both agreed. Should’ve walked out lol.
