I love this show, its a guilty pleasure. Through season 4 (thanks TNT).

Watched the first season, then DTV killed CW. Glad to find it back on again.

Not sure how many are still watching, but last night's episode is the best one in a long time. It would have been a good wrap up to the series to be honest. Cool cameo at the end too.

Saving the entire season so far for a binge watch during Thanksgiving. Glad to hear it's going well.

Haven't been watching for a while. I saw the thread come up and was wondering if it was cancelled. I loved this show, but after the fight with Lucifer it got worse. I think the writers changed and to be honest, where do you go after beating the devil?

Has it been better? If so, I may have to go back and watch what I missed.

Yeah, I think it was always supposed to end after that season's finale (Season 5?) Still a good show, just used to be the best thing on TV.

Hit and miss to be honest. The Levithans storyline was weak, but but the other seasons ranged from good to pretty good. Nothing like the early stuff, but there are some gems in there. Crowley's character is worth watching just by himself.

Anybody still watch this show?  While some seasons have been weaker than others, I think the writers do a good job of keeping the episodes and season arcs pretty interesting and fresh.  Plust Sam, Dean, and Castiel are just fantastic characters.

I do.  I fear that they're a bit stuck.  Each season the writers seem to feel they need to find something more powerful to fight than the previous season.  Last season had God and his sister.  I'm hoping that this season they find a way to keep the story going and interesting without having to try and come up with something more powerful than God to fight against.

I like it so far with this English broad.  Even if the story's not making a ton of sense right now.

Can't believe this show is still running strong after so long. Ratings are still good (for the CW) and it already got renewed back in January for a 13th season. Honestly felt like this season (12th) was one of the better ones after some meandering seasons prior to this (Mark of Cane season was pretty up and down, IMO.)

Loved the nod to Jeffrey Dean Morgan's Negan character in one of the episodes a few months ago.

GF and I just started watching on Netflix. Not great, but not bad either. Enjoying this current demons released from Hell story line.

Hard to believe it's finally over. I'm not sure how much I liked the ending,  I would have just left it at last week's episode,  but it at least made sense in the Grand scheme of the show.

Can’t believe I’ve watched every episode. I enjoyed last night but it was a thanks/wrap up not a real episode. I enjoyed the hour before the last episode.

The only thing I don’t think they acknowledged enough was the total hotties that have been a big part of the show.

Going to really miss this show. Been addicted for 15 years, my wife loves it to. One of the few shows we keep on the tv in the background while reruns air on TNT or TBS during the day. The way Castiel finally went out was heartbreaking, plus so many good characters that they were never afraid to kill off over the years.

Other than those middle season low points when they transitioned away from their original 5 year plan and had to figure out how to keep it going (season 7’s Leviathans being the worst season IMO) the show was still going strong and still really enjoyable. One of the rare shows that is not a shell of itself years later at the end.

Looking forward to Dean being in The Boys, should be weird seeing him in a new role. Not sure how I feel about Sam being Walker, Texas Ranger but will give it a chance.

, I re-watched the episode today and I'm still baffled about why they did things the way they did.

What was the point of killing Dean. The man lived a miserable life and had a miserable death. Both of these guys deserved to live a normal life like Sam did  at the end.

If I were doing the last episode, I would have kept it simple: there are no monsters in Jack's world,  so no need for Dean and Sam doing what they do. Half the episode would be them closing down the bunker, reminiscing on the past as they find certain artifacts, and saying goodbye to Jodi, Donna, whoever. The second half would be them enjoying life, much like they did for Sam. Dean would have died first because,  well, he didn't live the healthiest life. Than, when Sam dies , they could have done the same ending they did.

Apparently Jansen Ackles was pretty pissed how they offed Dean.

Just started watching. S1 was good, S2 boring, S3 decent. We are into the 4th season. Curious about Castiel and his intentions. Bela was ok as a character. Liked blonde Ruby better.

Just had the shapeshifter as movie characters episode. Also Dean getting ghost sickness and being afraid of everything was hilarious.

Great show, but if I ever rewatched, I would stop on the current story arc you are on. I don’t want to spoil anything but it ends at the end of Season 5. There are still good episodes after that but it the stories aren’t as strong as Seasons 1 to 5.

Thanks. We have a habit of not being able to quit a show once started so we intend to make it through the whole 15 seasons

Still worth it but the first 5 seasons were top notch. I watched everything the first time but I don’t think I could do all 15 seasons again. That’s a huge time commitment.

My youngest just started S1 this week. He's enjoying it so far. I told him nearly the same thing, enjoy the first 5 seasons - after that it "kinda changes". I didn't want to get into specfics, but he has my sense of humor so he'll probably enjoy it and watch the remaining seasons.

Most people find season 7 the weakest. After the initial 5 it took them a while to find a formula that works. Basically each year after that has kind of a season long arc/story with lots of standalone eps in between. The seasons are up and down depending on your opinion/taste. I actually like some of 11-15 a lot better than 6-10.

Show was still growing strong IMO at the end (see my posts above.) Binge-ing may be tough as that's a lot of content. I watched live over 15 years (and lots of re-watches on TBS/TNT) so it always felt fresh.

The cousins and Sam’s wall were the worst parts IMHO and that was all around 6-8 I think. Still fine for first time watching but not worth for rewatching.

Just can’t compare to some of the amazing episodes in 1-5.

We've made it to the end of S8. Enjoying so far, some episodes are better than others. A lot of repetition and now to the point we like the one off monsters of the week eps more than the season long arc stories. The Leviathans were meh.

Charlie the hacker has been a fun reoccurring character. Just met Metatron played by Booger from Revenge of the Nerds for those of you old enough.

One of the few series I've watched every episode of. I hated that covid took away the final episode we should have had, but I enjoyed every season except the Levithan one.
