watching the news here in philly and they are interviewing a tailgater from south jersey, thats at the stadium now

its 535am...

so what are the earliest you started gating for a game? late game like 2 years ago in december i went down around 8am for the 4pm game lol..COLD

I must be a wimp! We go out 4 hours before gametime. I like to get some sleep before the game.

What good is it to get there at 5:30 and then be drunk or sleepy before the game? Not to mention, you are probably toast for the late and/or night games!

To add, I am awake right now, but the Colts play on the road today at 4pm. I plan to take a mid-morning nap to be ready for a full day!

Chargers season ticket holder starting my third year. Last year my best friend and I got to the stadium at 8 am for the 5:30 pm ESPN Sunday Night game vs. the NY giants. The reason why we got there at 8 am was because the parking lot gates do not open earlier. Had they opened at 6 am, we would have been there then.

Qualcomm is reducing the tailgate time no matter if the game is a 1 pm start or a Sunday/Monday night game. They said prior to the season that the gates to the parking lot would open 5 hours before kickoff. This might be in reaction to the drunkenness they see at the Raiders game and if they cut down on the tailgate time they cut down on how drunk people get.
