Anyone picking this guy up? He was pretty good 2 years ago. Sounds like he might play Sunday:

T Jackson is great! I've had him on my team for a long time now...grabbed him off the wire this week after his good performance this past week...he's a great big play dude...

Grabbed him to start in place of George Wilson (bye week). Then someone in my league (the guy I'm playing this week) dropped LaRon Landry. Our rules don't allow dropped players to be picked up until the following week, but I'm all over Landry next week. Hopefully no one else gets to him before my waiver number comes up.

Same here snagged Jackson for Wilson starting Jackson and mikell should be a good week for safety!

Was in line for a big game after the early pick, but then he gets hurt. His sub (Lynch) put up 2-1-0 plus another INT, and he could have had another at the goal line. Missed opportunities.

Is Tanard Jackson going to start at Strong Safety for Washington this year? It looks like Brandon Meriweather is penciled in as the starter, but he's got a banged up knee. "Washington Redskins head coach Mike Shanahan said FS Brandon Meriweather (knee) will miss the final two preseason games because of swelling in his knee. Meriweather will not need surgery on the injured knee." Not only is he banged up, but he's not very good...I watched him closely in Chicago.

Hopefully Jackson will prove himself over the final 2 games of the pre-season. "Washington Redskins FS Tanard Jackson will be given a chance to earn more playing time or win one of the starting safety jobs in the last two preseason games because he will be filling in for injured FS Brandon Meriweather (knee)."

Please advise if I should part ways with Jackson?
