Anyone taking a chance on Noah Gray in his place?
Anyone taking a chance on Noah Gray in his place?
I certainly would if I was weak at TE, or had Kelce with little to back him up. I'd guess he gets at least 3-5 catches with a shot at a TD.Anyone taking a chance on Noah Gray in his place?
Sitting Gray and LaPorta for Higbee, but intrigued by what Gray can do tonight. Would have started Gray over LaPorta.Anyone taking a chance on Noah Gray in his place?
Just picked up Noah Gray (dropped 5th RB Ty Chandler) to help hedge against Kelce's injury lingering. Starting Jake Ferguson at TE this week. Let's see what happens with Gray -- he had nice stats last season considering his role and a lot more snaps than you might think (over 50% of offensive snaps in 12 games last season per CBS).Hmm, Irv Smith, Kmet, or go with boom or bust in Gray?
Same, not sure if he's the play or Mostert. I know, belongs in the Assistant Coach forum but just thinking out loud now.Sorely tempted by McKinnon now

Leaning towards Ferguson as well, but would have to drop Gray.Just picked up Noah Gray (dropped 5th RB Ty Chandler) to help hedge against Kelce's injury lingering. The injury doesn't seem too serious. Apparently, Kelce was begging to play.
What’s the prop lineAnyone taking a chance on Noah Gray in his place?
My book has already adjusted the prop lines and reckons a TD about 40% of the time
I would love to be able to pull that trigger with confidence. Would be an epic move if Gray does something, though. All that matters is tonight. I would play Gray over Ferguson.

I’m starting him over Irv Smith and Dalton Kincaid in a dynasty league. It’s not one of my stronger teams so more of a swing for the fences move.I certainly would if I was weak at TE, or had Kelce with little to back him up. That's fairly ballsy but the kind of move that wins weeks. Big Gray fan but would have a tough time starting him over Everett. Far safer, IMO. But best of luck!Kelce owner in redraft and I'm starting Gray. Grabbed him yesterday over the likes of Okonkwo, Dulcich, Everett, and so on.

MFL still has him as Q. These sites need to update quicker.WTH, because Kelce is listed as NA rather than O by Yahoo, I am unable to move him to my IR slot this week. That's whack!

Everett clogged my dynasty roster for years, which clearly colors my bias. That's fairly ballsy but the kind of move that wins weeks. Understood. Just love him with Kellen Moore as the OC for the Bolts. We'll see what happens. Definitely like Gray's upside tonight though.Everett clogged my dynasty roster for years, which clearly colors my bias. That's fairly ballsy but the kind of move that wins weeks. Try again? Listed out on our Yahoo league
That is pretty damn convincing. If he indeed sits, Noah Gray would project as an every-down tight end. Gray quietly appeared on 52% of Kansas City’s 2022 offensive snaps and finished fifth on the team in catches. He was a freak athlete coming out of Duke three years ago, blazing a 4.55 forty at 6-foot-3, 240.
Per Evan Silva
He had 52 routes run in 1-TE sets last year, and he saw an intriguing 17% target rate and 2.0 yards per route run on them. With TE Jody Fortson also injured, Gray should be a near full-time player in an offense projected for the most points in the NFL. The coaching staff trusts Gray, and he even ran the 4th-most routes during their playoff run last year. Detroit was 24th vs. TEs, too. I am a believer. The Underdog Fantasy Pick'em lobby has his receiving line at 30.5 yards.
Per Hayden Winks (ranks him 10 behind Andrews, Hock, Waller, Higbee, Skittles, Goedert, Njoku, Wngram, Musgrave (assuming Watson and Doubs are out).
I’m probably gonna roll with Gray.
it’s a fact. After Belichik abused it.*Interesting. When did that change??The NFL no longer has a "doubtful" classification, just questionable or OUT.Listed as questionable.
Not even doubtful.
Really?
*My opinion, this is not necessarily fact.
Over who?I’m probably gonna roll with Gray.
Kmet, Schultz, Juwan, Musgrave all on the wire. Gray is prob gonna give me a goose egg. But I’ll eat that instead of me choosing some other turd and them giving me one.Over who?I’m probably gonna roll with Gray.
I have him in a league with Pitts, Conklin, Likely, JuJohson
I have a hard time be Ching Pitts for him.
Don you hate autocorrect?Over who?I’m probably gonna roll with Gray.

An opportunity for us to be geniuses — this is what fantasy football is all aboutWas all prepared to roll with J. Ferguson too.
Damn you!

It’s going to be the Darth of me.Don you hate autocorrect?Over who?I’m probably gonna roll with Gray.

FOX NFL’s Jay Glazer reports Travis Kelce (knee) is expected to return for Week 2 against the Jaguars.
Per Glazer, the Chiefs were initially concerned Kelce suffered a season-ending tibia plateau fracture, though the injury was later revealed to be a deep bone bruise. Noah Gray started in his place in Week 2 and paced the Chiefs in routes, though he only turned that into three catches for 31 yards. The Chiefs’ receiving room gave Patrick Mahomes nothing to work with in their Week 1 loss to the Lions, so Kelce’s return can’t come soon enough for the reigning champions.
That doesn't sound as optimistic as I thought it would.
I have Kelce and Hock...need to start Hock if Kelce is questionableupdate?
Last time Goedert goose egged the following game he went 6-for-6 for 102 with 2 TDs.Don't want to start Goedert tonight after his goose-egg and then have Kelce able to go on Sunday. So I think I'm going to roll the dice and fall back on (ick) Gerald Everett if Kecle can't go.
I’m starting Goedert and flexing Kelce. I think Kelce likely plays though.Don't want to start Goedert tonight after his goose-egg and then have Kelce able to go on Sunday. So I think I'm going to roll the dice and fall back on (ick) Gerald Everett if Kecle can't go.
I am leaving Kelce in at TE, if he can't go I will have to go Kmet or pick HHenry off FA .. I could swap Hockenson in tonight instead!Don't want to start Goedert tonight after his goose-egg and then have Kelce able to go on Sunday. Dynasty league and traded for KelceFor those owners that own both Kelce and Goedert u make me sick. Ha ha
I could swap Hockenson in tonight instead!
Not sure how many times I said, "of course he goes off on my bench" last night and today its more laughing as I see how this year is going to go. Scored 2nd most points last week only to lose to the highest scoring team.I could swap Hockenson in tonight instead!
you laughing or crying today?
