Updating a previous items, ESPN's Adam Schefter reports that doctors who've examined Giants RCB Terrell Thomas do NOT believe Thomas' ACL is torn and are optimistic he will play football this season.
Jason Sannon (not sure on spelling) is on local ESPN radio , live at Giants camp, saying TT is getting cleared to play. He also said Cruz is absolutely working Prince, just making him look silly play after play.
ETA: I was driving (stopped at light) when I posted and couldn't confirm. The only thing I can find is this from Rotoworld today which doesn't really go along with the above:
Terrell Thomas - DB - Giants Giants RCB Terrell Thomas (knee) has been officially diagnosed with a "stretched" and "aggravated" ACL, and could be sidelined as little as 3-5 weeks.
That's provided he avoids setbacks on an unstable right knee. Regardless, coach Tom Coughlin admitted the prognosis was a "best-case scenario." Thomas almost certainly won't be ready for Week 1, but isn't a candidate for the reserve/PUP list since he didn't begin training camp on the active/PUP.
