**** that. He didn't absorb the collision. He made it into a collision. Absorbing it would mean giving or reaching up to slow the guy.

Dell dropped a TD first series. Then they tried a couple passes his way in the first half that weren't close. He can't get off press coverage, which is a terrible combination with an offensive line that can't pass protect longer than one second. I wouldn't count on Dell doing anything. He's not the player we thought he was before the season.

With the pass protection issues, that's exactly what they should have done. I have Stroud for fantasy too and I hate it, but trusting this offensive line to NOT commit a penalty or give up a sack (or worse) would've been idiotic. Their best play was to trust Fairbairn and hope the defense could bail them out one more time

As far as playing for the FG, I'd have run Mixon 3 times. I can't trust this OL to not false start, hold, or give up a sack (or worse).

Yeah just seems like they cannot figure out how to zig when they should zag and vice versa. Play to win. Slowik loves to just turtle with a lead and it drives me nuts.

It’d be one thing if I believe he was being strategic like you suggest. I think it’d have been him being safe vs running to make them burn TOs.

Somehow they got an exemption and are planning to wear the all whites again this week at Seattle.
