**Texans at Vikings** (+1.5, 46) 1:00 (1 Viewer)

Super excited for this game tomorrow
Houston has not played their best football yet and everyone keeps overlooking the Vikings
Cam Akers will likely be the starter at RB, I don't anticipate him having a big day.
Stroud will be leaned on to carry them thru the game, Nico, Diggs and Dell
On the other side, Vikings are balanced and they might have a RB that will eventually force his way to more touches in Ty Chandler, 3rd year RB starting to turn a corner, might be the secret weapon for the Vikings as the season rolls along. Darnold seems just fine as their starter this year.
Should be a good measuring stick for both teams

I like the Vikings in the Dome but I'm not likely gonna bet, just want to watch and cheer them on

As a Vikings fans in Texas… just happy I get to watch a full game.

“Vikings in the dome” is a funny sentence to me, as we Vikings fans lefts the Metrodome behind when it collapsed.

True, is the new place got a roof that allows sun light in or is it completely open?

It’s got a roof but it’s glass and allows sunlight.

Definitely not a dome in all of my classic metronome sense of it.

Ivan Pace is out today with is a huge loss for the Vikings. I expect Cam Akers to look surprising good against line backers that can't elude blocks like Pace.

CJ Stroud v. Sam Darnold. Even in Minny, the choice is easy. I think Darnold comes back to earth and Texans perform at a higher level than in previous weeks. Texans 27-10

Texans have looked good,not great.
Vikings have exceeded expectations so far for sure.
Vikings at home but I don't think that rattles The Texans at all.
C.J. is on a very even keel and I think he makes a few plays late to secure another win...

Houston- 27
Minny- 23

With respect there’s a lot more than these quarterbacks today. This Vikings defense is absolutely legitimate and if the Bears could hold in check the Vikings are better.

Sorry, but the ‘quarterback only’ analysis seems to really limit how good this Vikings team is overall.

I'm not sure about splitting hairs on "dome" v "enclosed" but its indoor football, not Bud Grant football.

Offensive holding on HOU on 1st play (because Grenard beat his man)
Tipped pass INT on 2nd play
This defense…

Where was that last week ? Going for it on 4th down. So sick of Fairbairn beating me by 1 point last week on all those stupid long FG's....yes still bitter.

Vikes defense is top 5 in the league. National media jabronis have been behind on this.
I've been behind on it too.
It’s fair though. They have like 5 new guys.
Love AVG, very underrated player in Miami.
Grenard, Gilmore, Shaq Griffen - all starters.
I haven't thought Gilmore looked great in his last couple of stops. Good this year so far. Him and Collins are a big matchup.

Flores will get a head coaching job if the defense keeps playing well. He did more with less in Miami than many coaches would've, perhaps better than McDaniel ... TBD.

Miami should've kept AVG, MIN offered him slightly more in guaranteed dollars. It forced Grier into panic mode in the draft for edge and we selected Chop instead of BPA, which would've been Barton or CB Mitchell.

NFL's insistence on arbitrarily calling illegal formation penalties on the tackles is pretty annoying. At the same time you'd think Tunsil would get the freaking memo.
