Thanksgiving morning cocktails (1 Viewer)

I'm through about 1/3 of a Jack Daniels bottle already and have a full one on the bench warming up. Some ice and a glass and you are good to go.

HTH.

Compromised with the wife and got the fixin's for Fuzzy Navels. After the first one, I'm sold for a few hours until I start on the rum... :goodposting:

Thought I had Absolut to mix with oj but alas, the cupboard was bare of vodka. I'm on my second talisker instead.

I remember spending Thanksgiving in Portland, OR. Went out wed. and bought some local brew, absolut, bloody mary fixins, smoked salmon, bagels, tomatoes, purple onions, cream cheese. Had a feast at 9:30am. Then went to my wife's uncles house and drank home brew for 5 hours. I was pickled by dinner.
This is an amazingly good idea!

A couple of Narragansett Coffee Milk Stouts and then off to see the NK Skippers beat the snot out of SK. A couple of nips of Dr McGullicuddy's for the game.

a nice spicy bloody mary is the only answer here....and go all out with olives, celery, banana peppers, horseradish etc....
This has turned into a tradition on TG morning in my house, especially the bolded. We stick to celery in the drink and have a relish tray with olives, peppers etc. out as well.

I don't do liquor, so my turkey day mix will be a local pumpkin beer and IPA, some home brew, and a New Glarus fruit beer later for dessert.
