I’ve heard this before. The just of it was if you can retire in your late 50s, do it. Putting it off for a few extra dollars isn’t worth it because later on in life you’ll spend far less than you think since you more than likely can’t do much.

I agree with it. Very much follows Die with Zero concepts

Funny enough I got more from this (the visceral impact, at least) than the whole Die with Zero book, which I thought was pretty overwrought for the concept it was getting across.

Not surprising considering your reputation in the 10K thread:

Sand: verb
To start a race at an abnormally fast pace that leaves you gasping for air by the time you're 1/3 of the way through the race. Example: "I sanded the living hell out of that 5K! My splits were 6:01, 7:15, 7:55."

I think I actually hit these numbers. One of the last 5ks I did at 1/2 mile or something I looked over and was next to Scott Strand. You know, the father of Ethan Strand...
