It's made by Incase. It's not a dock or anything, just a straight plug in charger. Bought it at the apple store.this one

Apple is just so paranoid. It's almost like they don't think someone would actually take one of their phones and break it down to the last little device on it.

I rooted my iPod Touch to get all the functionality of ios4 (folders, multitasking). I see that ios 4.02 is now available. If I allow the upgrade to happen will I lose folders and multitasking?

Make sure you don't have every single app running in the background. Mine was suddenly sucking wind at the end of each day and it was because I had never fully closed an app after using it (i.e. go to multi task bar, hold down app and click the '-' on everything you don't want running). It's annoying, but minor.

Make sure you don't have every single app running in the background. There's actually more computing power just in the battery itself than many early cell phones.

Easiest thing for someone to do is to not let the pack get hot. Running a battery at high temps drastically reduces charge, and life. Keeping a phone in a pocket and in use via handsfree (bluetooth, earphones) is one way to do this. The dorks that have the belt clips got lucky in that way.

What is this multitask bar?

Double-click the Home button. This brings up the multitask bar along the bottom that shows every app that is running in the background. Click an icon to quickly jump to a new app, or hold down on an icon to and once they start shaking click the "-" to close them.

Im in, picked it up yesterday. much faster. The camera is great, and you can actually take a few pictures nearly simultaneously, instead of taking one, waiting 5 seconds for it to record, then taking another one.

love the HD camera too, great addition now that we have a 4 month old.

You can scroll inside the text box by dragging with two fingers instead of one. You have to drag within the boundary of the box, though.

Do not upgrade to 4.02. You will absolutely lose your jailbreak.Wait for 4.1 to be released and then the 4.1 jailbreak before you leave 4.0.1.

Love the phone, but have to say I really am surprised at just how bad the reception on the phone is (not that I should be). I haven't dropped any calls yet, but almost every call I've made/received has been 'choppy' (Philly area).

Oh well, hopefully it will get better with the bumper case???
