The Audible Roundtable LIVE! - 9/23/10 - 10pm ET (1 Viewer)

I'm loving the information footballguys.com has been putting forth so far this season. Absolutely spot on.

Which guys who've been slow out of the gate, do you think will start to rebound and which big performers in these early games do you think won't be able to maintain their production?

Thanks guys,

Jonathan

How do you think the Wells/Hightower & McFadden/Bush situation plays out? .. I have both Wells and Bush and would like some insight. Keep? Drop?

Looking for your opinions on the 'hot' WW Wide Rec from the past few weeks. Which ones will stay hot, which ones will fall by the wayside. I'm talking about guys like Walter, Clayton, Demaryius Thomas, Collie, Heyward-Bey, and Manningham.

History tells us that at least one of these guys usually has a top 10-15 season. My early guess is Clayton as StL will need to throw a lot and Bradford seems to trust him.

Gentlemen,

What are your thoughts regarding the long term prospects of these WRs?

1. Brian Hartline

2. Buster Davis

3. Demaryius Thomas

Thanks as always!

In General: Please, tell me everything you know about Keiland Williams. Does he have the potential to be the back of the future for the Skins or will they address the RB position in the offseason?

Getting ME Specific: I have Tolbert in my PPR Dynasty and am wondering if I should try to trade him to the Keiland owner while Tolbert has more than just handcuff value. Or am I undervaluing the dynasty value of Tolbert?

Thanks,

fd

Thanks for your efforts guys...I listened to your show on 87.7 The Ticket this past Sunday for the first time (on my way to the airport).....Good Stuff!

I'm interested in your thoughts on the various RBs that have started to post numbers or appear to be in-line for some carries due to injuries or trades...

(1) SD RB Mike Tolbert,

(2) ATL RB Jason Snelling,

(3) NO RB DeShawn Wynn/Chris Ivory,

(4) NYG RB Danny Ware, and

(5) WAS RB Keiland Williams

Others?

What can we reasonably expect from each? Who offers the greatest chance of adding value to a fantasy roster?

Looking forward to your thoughts

===

BTW, I went ahead and added Tolbert and Snelling through waivers earlier this week

Crabtree vs Knox going forward.

I see Knox being the better WR the next few weeks but what about Crabtree when he gets his S@#@%^ together come playoff weeks 14-16 with matchups against Sea, @SD, @StL?

Looks like a great buy low at the moment.

I have Marshall, Nicks, Bowe, Knox in a shallow league that only rosters 12 players total. I was thinking of dropping Knox for Crabtree (was Surprised someone dropped him already). Is this a smart move, or should I sit on Knox' upside? Knox has NE, @Min, NYJ for his playoff schedule.

THanks guys - it is nice being 2-0 and rolling forward - I appreciate all the help from FBG's!

1. Thoughts on K. Williams WAS, PPR dynasty league?

2. What happens with R. Grant long term? Only Starks is under contract beyond this year, is he the guy possibly?

3. Thought on Freeman as a Dynasty QB? TB has a nice, young nucleus of WR, just need an RB. Where do you rank him, who do you compare him to?

1. Matt Ryan vs. NO or Eli Manning vs. TENN?

2. Who is a better start this week: Crabtree, Hester, Evans or Lance Moore?

3. Is Kevin Kolb droppable, or should he be held onto a bit longer?

Thanks a ton guys.. Love the show!

Read the tea leaves for those of us who blew all of our FA dollars on Brandon Jackson

I need 3 pre-emptive picksups that you guys think will bust out in the next cpl weeks.

1RB

1WR

1QB

GO!!!!

Are there any WR's in Minnesota that are going to be able to produce at a WR3 level?

Love the show and adding Matt has been great!

Thanks

Hey Guys:

Do you think the trade of M. Lynch (BUF) for A.J. Hawk (GB) will be a reality? How long should I hold onto Lynch?

Any news on J. Addai injury?

Thanks

Little IDP action fo' yo' @#$@#ess....

Compare/contrast, if you would, the following couple players vs. a few of the potential 'waiver wire darlings' for this week:

Tracy Porter(CB) and Chris Clemons(S) vs. the Jason Allens, Steve Gregorys, Casons, etc.

Should we IDPers be leaning more toward a few guys that appear that MAYBE the light is turning on for them this year, be it due to opportunity/whatever, over players of Porter's/Clemons' ilk? Would your opinion be the same in big play leagues vs. tackle heavy leagues?

Lastly, opinions on Russell Allen? Jags look terrible on defense this year, and it looked like he was rolling out there in the Nickle when Durant went out.

Many thanks.

Guys, for those of us with Michael Vick in our Dynasty rosters, what can we reasonably expect if we trade Michael Vick for picks? specially in deep 16-team rosters where scarcity is the norm....

Now that Mike Vick is the starter Is Mccoy going to be a top 15 back? Will he get Westbrook numbers?

Will the Josh Mcdaniels limit Moreno's carries in the near future? Does he have any chance to increase his YPC? He seems like will consistently get 100 total yards eveyr game.

Guys I have a tough decision this week. Percy Harvin or Mike Williams (TB)? Harvins been a disappointment so far this year but 5 catches in the first quarter last week show me that they want to get him involved. Harvins got the better matchup and provided he is healthy what would you do? Mike has been awesome this year but he's going up against the Pitts defense. Can I really roll the dice on the rookie after what the new Steel Curtain did last week to the Titans? Thanks for the help and keep up the great work :D

Talking Flex/Backup RBs in Redraft 10 team PPR.

At the moment saddled with Dwill, Spiller, Bush to go with Rice, have Hillis.

Jerome Harrison and Fred Taylor were dropped this week while I picked up Keiland Williams on a flyer. What are your thoughts on these three guys? Can Shanahan turn another unknown into fantasy gold? Is Taylor a better play with Faulk out for season? Has Jerome hit his ceiling this year with Hillis getting more production out of less touches and James Davis lurking?

What about Chris Ivory who returned to practice?

Thanks guys and thanks Bloom for all the twitter love!

I'm going to 2nd/3rd/4th the Bay-Bay suggestions. This is a guy who really flew under the radar both in redraft and in dynasty, stuck as he was in the shadow of the far-more-heralded (by fantasy guys, at least) Dez Bryant and Mike Williams. He was supposed to be a project WR, he was supposed to be nursing an injury, he was supposed to be way behind because of all the time he missed, and then he came out and, despite only playing on two drives, had the fourth-best rookie debut in recent memory.

Was it legit or a fluke? Did he do anything to answer any concerns you might have had about his route running or his ability to adapt to the pro game? How much did last week's game change your feelings about him? Where do you think he rates compared to his rookie peers in redraft going forward? How about in dynasty?

Which waiver wire WR is most likely to be the most fantasy-relevant?

I am un a deep & competitive PPR redraft league where we can start up to 4 WRs per week. Currently I have to toggle between Dez Bryant, Manningham, Hartline & Laurent Robinson as my #3 WR in the hopes that one will break out. Since I have Gates as my TE, would you drop John Carlson for one of the following WRs with the hope they become the next breakout WR?

Deon Butler

Brandon Tate

Golden Tate

Craig Davis

Sammy Stroughter

Jason Avant

Justin Gage

Chris Chambers

Earl Bennett

Jordy Nelson

Steve Johnson

Hey guys,

I'm in a 12 team 18 man roster, standard scoring non-ppr, 6pt per all TDs. I have T.Gonzalez at TE. Should I pick up A.Hernandez? If so who to drop?

Kolb (Have McNabb, Freeman)

MW SEA, L.Moore (have Fitz, Nicks, Wards, MW TB)

I am at the end of Waivers so I won't be able to get him if someone else decides to go for him.

Thanks.

Steve

Thanks for everything guys, I liked the old format but like it even more now with Waldman!

This is a question for any of you but primarily for Bloom. I have heard you talk about wanting to have as many variables as possible for the most fun in fantasy football. I have also heard you stress that this is FANTASY football and not the same as the NFL. I think both of those points are spot on.

In light of that, though, I was surprised when I heard you say in preseason (I think my memory serves me correctly) that no leagues should have their Super Bowl in week 17. It seems that a week 17 SB would really put one's FFB skills to the test both in making decisions that week and in preparing to be ready in the weeks prior.

I would think a week 17 SB would be right in your guys' wheelhouses. Help me to see your perspective.

Is R. Moss or Fitz worth trading for at this point? PPR league but I worry about Fitz knee and R Moss hamming it up. Is either worth S. Smith (CAR), J Freeman, and M Clayton right now?
