The Curse of Oak Island (1 Viewer)

I also love the fact how they spend a ton of time fantasizing that they are on the verge of finding historically significant treasures, the holy grail, the arc of the covenant, etc... And then just start drilling 4 inch holes in the ground looking for it. Hey Catholic's we found your most precious relics, I'm sure you don't mind that giant hole through the center of it!

Marty needs to "accidentally" push David Blankenship down 10x to finally fulfill the "7 must die" thing so they can wrap this up.

The guy on america Unearthed thinks the holy grail WAS at oak island, but was moved inland long ago.

I trust him, he seems very well grounded

I can't wait for the "OH MY GOD, LOOK WHAT I FOUND" then fade to black see you next season cliffhanger.
I think it's going to be:

"OH MY GOD....WE CAN'T GET HIM BACK UP AND THE HOLE IS FILLING WITH WATER" and then the fade to black.

You mean the hole already full of water is going to fill up with water? Whatever will they do?
The water is going to fill up with extra water released from hidden chambers with old ship wood filling the spaces every ten feet up the hole.

it will bee totally different water and they will not know what to do mind blow totally to the max bromigos

This show reminds me of when they found the caramel corn inside Lincoln's head on the Ren & Stimpy show.

On reddit:

I am not able to reveal my sources on this because the person that told me about this could get in loads of trouble due to an NDA. But basically there is some very heavy equipment on order and a barge delivery is being prepped due to the causeway not being large enough.

The equipment is being delivered by a company called Liebherr. It is my understanding that this scale of equipment would only be used for a very large excavation moving large loads of land and quickly. The Liebherr T model dump truck is the first item that was mentioned to me. I can only see this meaning that there is some serious excavations that could happen season 4, but the way they produce the show wouldn't doubt if it comes later.

Does anyone know how far back season 3 was shot?

Of course they're going to find a ton of loot. There's no other way this could end.

The fourth season of History’s hit nonfiction series The Curse of Oak Island is making its triumphant return on November 15, 2016 at 9pm ET/PT. The Lagina Brothers are going all out this season with more than 450 tons of unique high-tech equipment aimed at excavating the Money Pit, after a gold object was discovered during the last installment, instilling new hopes for the future.

What gold object?

it would be pretty sweet if the heavy equipment showed up and so did the count from counting cars and then they spent the next few weeks pimping out the dump trunk that would rule maybe lower it and put it on air shocks or something and drop a hemi in there take that to the bank bromigos

SO over this show.  I tried to stay interested...I really did.  Just start digging a big pit.  Stop with all this BS.

I can't believe another season of this stupid ####### show starts soon  I'm firmly on team Oak Island and hope all the "explorers" are swallowed up in that watery shaft.

Make or break for them this year  IMO.  I thought they might pack it in after the diver found nothing in10x at the end of last season.

They need to find something that shows that treasure was actually buried there at some point in the past.  As of now, all they have is lore and legend from previous treasure hunters.

:lmao:

I love this thread, and want to thank you all for persevering.

I've never seen a single second of the show, but the story is interesting- and I know without this thread and the fine work done by all of you, I'd be wasting away my life watching it.

but it looks good on all of you, though. keep up the fight, fine sirs. you're appreciated.

The Lagina brothers would find more treasure if they bought a $100 metal detector and cruised any random beach. The total amount of money people have spent looking for this treasure has to be crazy. North of $10 million?

I didn't realize this had been on for 2 years  I've watched the last several episodes as I caught bits and pieces and it's on right before Hunting Hitler, which I found interesting.

So, basically, they've found nothing of actual value except a few metal scraps in 2 years?

It's like they've taken the premise and conclusion of Al Capone's vault and somehow have made a multi-season show out of it.  It's astounding that this stupid show had more than a couple of episodes made.  Maybe @chet is behind the financing?

I guess it's more the mystique of the story that draws the audience. Just like my thread, it goes to show, you can milk a marginally interesting story for a while.
