First things first, Milla Jovovich was insanely hot in this movie.

Now that that's out of the way, vote what you think of this movie. I think it's pretty underrated. Worth a watch every year or so, IMO.

Multi-pass!™

You need to add a new verb to the options, "bad" isn't a strong enough word.

Although you're right in that Jovovich is insanely hot in the movie.

good. would watch if it came on TBS some Saturday afternoon. would not seek it out on Netflix or OnDemand.

Good not great.Minus one star for the "fifth element is love" crap at the end.
Ya, I was kinda pissed off when, after watching two hours of gratuitous violence (that was pretty good, btw), they revealed the big "love" finale.

Another of the many movies that Milla has about 3 lines but just stands on screen and looks sexy.

Awful.

Plot that seems like it was written by a 12 year old...because it was.

And the only movie that has a worse character than Jar-Jar Binks.

You guys are crazy. Ruby Rhod is awesome. And the movie is supposed to have a healthy dose of camp, which makes it all the better.

Overall a good, but not great flick.

Decent but sentimental story. The best part are a cast of good actors who bring some otherwise cliche/unremarkable characters to life. Milla Jovovich was pretty good as Leeloo, Chris Tucker's effeminate DJ was great, and Oldman makes an otherwise meh villain memorable (as he tends to do). Hell, even Tommy Lister brought something to the table as the president.

Good visuals too. Great flick to watch on blu-ray.

I liked it the first time I saw it. It got worse upon the 2nd viewing. I have no interested in seeing it again.

:goodposting:I like the movie a lot, and Gary Oldman's awesome in it - it's not great imo though, more like a solid 8/10.

I've seen the first 20 minutes or so when Milla is running around in the orange tape bathing suit about 10 times. Never watched past that.

Somewhere between average and good. I like the style and Ruby Rhod doesn't bother me.

But I never rewatch the whole thing. It's one of those "test the home theater at high volume" DVDs where you play a minute or 2 and then watch something else.

Aziz.....LIGHT!!!!!

Thank you Aziz.

Good. Actually very good...except the lame ending.

Love the the comedy, acting etc. Very cool underrated movie.

One of the few movies I've seen more than a couple of times...probably around 5.

Personally, I think it's brilliant.

So bad its good kind of movie. I love the total cheese of it
