The FU Awards (1 Viewer)

Trent Richardson without a doubt! He was rated top 5 preseason on the browns

Then he was traded to the colts and owners licked their chops.

No contest here...

At least Trent Rich was bad enough to outright bench and not even think about... In a PPR you had to debate Rice with guys who almost always out scored him!

Any Marques Colston love for this award?

Know guy had a couple big games post-bye, but by that point I think he had Dud of the Year wrapped up. Dudes were writing this guy's retirement announcement already. He spent this entire season past week 2 on my bench.

Good pointHowever even with rice you got something out of him.

TRich was benched... How many people could make it without their #1 pick?

For underachieving, there isn't much worse than to go from rb1 to outright bench borderline release!

For biggest headache award, sure Rice takes it

Spiller.

A guy probably drafted top 5. Wasn't startable and wasn't bad enough to release as the hope was always he would get healthy and breakout.

Anybody think FJax actually gets phased out next year?

Yea, they were both awful... In my league Rice averaged 10 a game and Trent 8. Anyone that drafted either was pretty miserable! I'd like to meet the guy in a 10 teamer that took Rice/Trent at 10/11! He prob thought it was his lucky day that they both fell on draft day

My vote is for TRich. I'm so glad I dodged that bullet. Spiller is a very close 2nd.

yep, me too..

Im sure Tom Brady, with his paltry 24 tds, killed quite a few fantasy teams..wasnt he supposed to get another 40+tds?

Eli

Matty Cold as Ice Ryan - wow he sucked this year..too many injuries and o-line in shambles.

Steven Jackson

Joe Flacco

Roddy White

Jay Cutler

and IMO, the runner-up to Ray Rice is Jared Cook...remember, Peter King thought he was the best thing since sliced bread..

fantasy pundits were drooling over his potential in St Louis.

Me too.

Also, Ray Rice, CJ Spiller, Marques Colston, and Jared Cook.

And a special award for the last two weeks to Matthew Stafford.

Cutler is a good one, not so much because he was horrid, but he probably cost a lot of people McCown who was playing lights out.

Has to be bush. 5 points says it all. Will never, ever draft a detroit player again.
Yup!!! What about Mega? Such a disappointing week 15-16. I blame the coaching staff too!

I hope Jim Schwartz is fired, doesn't get another coaching job, files for bankruptcy, & finds a steady job as a telemarketer.

Megaton just because of his week 15 and 16 when it meant the most to fantasy players. Ray Rice in second, Spiller in third.

Andre Brown, Vereen, and Harvin weren't quite the late season saviors everyone hoped for. Brown had a nice slate of games immediately after returning but his FF playoffs were terrible. Vereen wasn't too hot, either, during the FF playoffs.

Moreno certainly slowed when things mattered most. As did Calvin. And AP.

Brees, Colston, and Graham disappeared at the most inopportune times this season but at least Graham finished strong.

Lynch was quiet for championship week. Actually, most QBs were, too.

MJD came back in time to derail the Todman train.

Cruz fizzled out long ago.

Meanwhile, Ryan Matthews, the guy whom almost no one trusted, was solid over the last half of the season. Joique closed out strong but who knows how many benches he was stuck on.

How many runs ended with Gronk's injury? And Payton's one slow game that coincided with the penultimate week of the FF playoffs?

I thought Colston finished strong as well. He only scored 11.30 points this week, but the previous two weeks he scored in my PPR league 33.50 points and 25.20 points. He had targets of 13, 13, and 10 the last three weeks when it counted the most in fantasy playoffs. I think most fantasy owners would be very happy with that.

For week 16 in my lineup:

Adrian Peterson

Calvin Johnson

Andre Johnson

Marques Colston

Vernon Davis

I still only lost by 10 pts thanks to the Manning-Decker connection and the Bills defense.

Has to be Spiller. People that got injured shouldn't count for this really.

I drank the kool-aid and took him in the 1st Round and he was worthless all season long.

Colston was a complete joke up until the bye minus 1 game. Then after that he was just a desperation play in the playoffs and he happened to play decently after he had the extra week to heal that foot, at which point I had already lost trust and he was riding my pine. He p***ed me off all season.

That's Dwayne Bowe for me. Never be on my team again.

Wes Welker should get an honorable mention. Top 5 WR for half the season than nothing. It was actually better he was ruled out the last two games with a concussion to stop the 'tease.

Jordan Cameron might get one as well. Blistering hot start, invisible towards the end of the season.

Spiller wins this easily. I drafted him in the top 5, maybe started him four or five times all year. Absolutely worthless.

Middle of the pack finish for me. Whiffed on first two rounds. FUs to all below;

Richardson with 10th pick was worst for me. Worst first round pick l ever made.

Shanny ruined what could have been a really nice alfred morris year with stupid usage.

Tannehill you love child of daniel tosh and the kid from deliverance l saw you underthrow mike wallace so many times. I had wallace.

Bears defense l had opposing running backs go off against me too many times.

And to me for streaming so many bad defense results.

Doug Martin. Not all his fault his team stunk up the joint early on.

Dwayne Bowe. For being a bubble third wr that always inticed me to start and regret later.

Eric Decker for starting you four weeks straight, and under acheiving then bench you and you score four tds.

Finally, Ridley for fumbling leaving me to start Ingram and Dixon week one of the playoffs. Injuries to Williams, Martin James and the suckage of Richardson made me do it

Nobody but yourself to blame if you had Trent Richardson.
You say it as if it was obvious he was a bum? I didn't draft him, but I would have if he fell to me. 23 years old and had over 10 TDs and his ypc was respectable.

You can't possibly say that there was a consensus that he was going to bust... If anything a lot of people thought he would be top 5.

On a side note, I do change my vote to Spiller. He was ranked the #1 rb for many sites. If I had the 1.1 I may have strongly considered spiller. If I had the 1.2 I would have taken spiller without hesitation and felt like I got a deal.

Spiller owners got a couple okay games from him if I remember right. Again, I didn't have him. I think the fantasy gods blessed me with a lot of these guys taken before my picks.

But you can't get much worse for underachieving from 1-2nd ranked rb preseason to falling out of the top 20

One that hasn't been mentioned:

Cook - Seemed like a breakout candidate at TE this year. Went nuts in Week 1 and never got close to those numbers again.

Love Cameron at the beginning of the year, but almost cost me last week with not playing. Just fell apart after the first 5 games

Round 1: T-Rich, Spiller, Rice

Round 2: Julio due to injury, Ridley, Wilson

Round 3: Gronk due to injury, Roddy White Injury, Mr. Ridley aka the fumble machine

Round 4: Lamar Miller

I know I am forgetting guys from those rounds but those are the names that stick out
