didn't realize reading was so difficult for some, was just throwing down random thoughts, didn't know I was being graded on my sentence structure, transitions, etc., 

is there a curve?

We're just busting your balls.  Relax.  It would make your post easier if you broke it up a bit, no harm, no foul.  You'll note our hero also had some mild criticism on his story structure and he took the criticism in stride, made a few tweaks and has entertained us with eloquent prose for over a week now.

The code red has to be on Dave or MJ to clear out the problems here. 

I personally would advise the Colonel for Dave (reason), but that's just me. Sorry Dave. Gotta do what you gotta do. 

Random Guy sounds like Markinson. The quiet, random dude who has all the answers. He probably knew about the situation between Kate and Dave way back and that's why he's gone rogue as he sees potential for major issues down the road. Dude is probably halfway to Istanbul under a completely different alias like Random Dude to be as far away as possible when this thing goes haywire.

That was the kind of work we had to put in as teens in the 80's getting to know a chick well enough that she'd let you get to 2nd base. My ear'd be killing me after those calls.  Plus snaking the cord into a private room was sometimes an issue.

Yes.  The Walking Dead Season 8 premier.  I had never watched TWD before.  She was trying to explain it to me.  Binge watched the series, then she broke up with me!  WTH  LOL

That is where this journey began after all. While I'm all for a single dad getting his, this group while a ton of fun, seems a little toxic.  You have now banged two female friends. Think about that for a minute. If Kate likes you more than you "know" than there may be some friction between Kate and Stacy. Maybe not now, but down the road. I'm not saying bounce out of this if you really are "true" friends with Kate, stay in it for as long as you want and have your fun with her and her friends.  But it sounds like it is already a little more than you want on your plate other than nailing Stacy.  You have easy outs with distance and your children.  You can leave this entire group anytime you want.  But it also might be time, after you bang Stacy like a screen door in a hurricane a few more times, to go swim in a different pond and maybe find a nice non Tinder single mom at the school bake sale.

Did not bang Kate, and I think that invalidated about 95% of your theory, but I appreciate the effort of your reply. Kate has told me and has since told Stacy that she and I are friends and nothing more.

:lol: This group could have a show on Lifetime

I do not know all the details. But from what I've been able to piece together, I believe Margot and Kate got into a spat several weeks earlier at a get-together for Dave's birthday. Kate was drunk and being over-the-top ridiculous (shocking) and Margot told her to dial it down a bit, and threw in a personal attack (something about Kate's exBF who had broken up with her). MJ was there and took up for Kate (yep, I know). Then again the next day by telling Margot off the next day in a very long and detailed text message.  Margot and Kate have since made up and are friends again, but the ripples through the friend group were still being felt on the night of the shindig. Some of this is what Kate filled me in on when I got to her place before the party.

Then that night, Dave apparently apologized to Margot for something (not sure what) and MJ saw it and was not pleased, and the fight ensued.  Then the guy Dave got into a scuffle with after that was Margot's ex boyfriend, so not sure what was going on there. 

I don't know that Kate and Dave were doing anything prior (I would not be shocked if that wasn't the first time it had happened, but I don't know for sure), but if so, that's not what the skirmish was about that night. If the Kate v. MJ conflict comes to fruition, I think it's going to be epic. 

 
Don’t mean to bring this up again....but wondering if you could expand on your first night Tinder hook up with Kate.....she seems to be the one of the biggest sure things on the Tinder menu yet you guys met up and didn’t seal the deal....but yet “bonded” very quickly and jumped directly into the friend zone.

If you're insinuating that Kate is a whore, then that is yet another bad assumption on your part. If your intent is to belittle me by saying I didn't seal the deal with Kate on the first night I met her, I can't say I understand your reasoning for doing so, but alright. I've stated in this very thread that taking a girl home the first night I meet her and trying to bed her is not my mission. Just not my style. Also, not everyone on Tinder (or other dating apps) is looking to meet up and #### someone immediately. Sure, some are. I was not, and neither was she. We went out several times and had a great time together and while there was some mutual  physical attraction, there just wasn't a spark, so it didn't progress beyond that. But there were 2 people with similar senses of humor, taste in music and personalities that just meshed well together. So yep, we bonded over those things. I stated this in my other thread a couple years ago and whether you believe me or not, it's not JUST about sex for me. Judge away, I don't give a ####. I realize I don't act/react like everybody else with and I'm fine with that.

Or just looking for points to nitpick and call me names? What, you don't believe any of this? If not, WHY THE #### ARE YOU HERE??

My apologies....being a 49 year old 20 plus years of marriage guy I am not totally up to date on all the sites/apps....but I thought that was THE thing that separated Tinder from the rest....I thought it was the site for I don’t want to deal with all the other stuff, I just want to get down to business site....in fact I thought it is precisely the opposite type of a site for someone like you that wasn’t looking to bed down for the night...so pardon my confusion....I never said she was a whore, but with my ideas of what Tinder is as a back drop, her excessive drinking, and other things that have been described in this thread including sleeping with her friends husband/men...I guess thats why I thought she might be pretty much a sure thing and was curious as to what happened that first night you met her through Tinder...never read your other thread, not judging or belittling you or your friend in any way.....just asking questions based on the information somebody provides in an on line message board thread where they are airing out/sharing their personal life and sexcapades for the entire world to see.....just seemed kinda weird for somebody that is not all about “that”...so sorry for the confusion, maybe had I read the other thread I would have a better understanding, maybe not.... I wish you the best of luck with your friend and your sexual conquests with Stacy.....
