The most underrated WR corps in the NFL? (1 Viewer)

Marshall/Hartline/Bess is a very talented trio. In fact, you would be hard-pressed to find a better group. As Henne matures, I think you're going to see the Fins get away from their conservative past & start opening things up with the pass.

Most people view the Dolphins as a team devoid of much FF worth, but that could change soon.

I'm not following. You think I'd be hard-pressed to find a better group than that? What league am I allowed to look in?

Marshall is a great player.I would guess there are about 16 teams with a better group of wide receivers.Of course, when the fish play the Pats monday night, they will look like the best group of receivers in the league, due to NE's inept defense atm...

Of course they aren't rated highly now. That's the point. Each of them fills an exact role, & as a whole, they're going to be very, very good. Great potential.

This is a young group, though. Give them time.

I'll have what he's having.

Not even close. There's very few trios I'd rather have starting out with a young QB who can build a rapport together. Very few.To begin with, Marshall probably has more raw talent than any WR in the league & still has room to grow. That's a helluva head start right there. Forget teams like the Pats with an older WR like Moss. I'm talking a group with a future.

BTW, my general premise is the most underrated group in the league...& I think that's Miami by a longshot, IMO.

That's fair, you didn't say they were the best in the NFL. I do think Bess is going to start becoming a poor man's Wes Welker soon. Not a lot of TDs but could become a decent PPR WR3 bye week type guy.

They're the 3rd best WR trio in their own division
I'll take Miami's group over the Jets easy, just on the Marshall factor alone. And Moss will be retired soon. Miami has a very underrated group. I think that will be evident if Henne progresses. That said, I'm not a huge Henne guy, so we'll see.

The Giants are eons better than this

Bess is sorely under-appreciated but I don't think he's under-rated. He's a pain in the neck to AFC East opponents as he should be

As a patriots fan, I'm more worried about the competitive threat that Henne represents than Sanchez.Oh, and Welker > Marshall.

I agree. And while Hartline isn't a guy who'll garner a lot of FF attention, he's a nice NFL WR. Probably the most underrated of the trio.
