Some of these movies are really top 200 of the decade? Come on. Top 200 of the decade basically means it's basically a top 20 movie for the year it was released. Change the thread title to "movies I saw and enjoyed" at least. smh.

Great contribution to the thread. Keep it coming.
I debated including this since I only really like the second half of it, but this movie got me into the original series and that counts for a lot. The memories of watching this and then discovering there was an entire series blew me away.61 (tie). The Twilight Zone: The Movie

I didn't learn about the deaths until sometime in the 1990s. By then, I had seen it 30+ times on HBOWith the Twilight Zone movie, I just struggle getting over the horrific deaths and that John Landis was probably responsible.

Another one I have seen many times. Think it was another HBO movie.

They were filming a scene set in Viet Nam with Morrow and 2 young asian kids when the helicopter in the scene crashed and killed Morrow and the the kids. There was a lawsuit against director John Landis and everything. With the Twilight Zone movie, I just struggle getting over the horrific deaths and that John Landis was probably responsible.
what now?
Vic Morrow died during filming due to an accident on the set. And some extras I think.

Watching the trailer, maybe I should have had this higher. Holy crap it was awesome. And that ending, I can remember watching it for the first time, I can remember exactly where I was, because it was the scariest thing I had ever seen at that point in my life.
we are well on our way of having more exclusions....not saying we need a next 100, but discussions will be had.
Not the best of the franchise but yeah it needed inclusion. I think only Sleepaway Camp has a better final scene.57 (tie). Friday the 13th

This should have done better on the original list. I blame myself. It is probably movie 101 for me.57 (tie). Blood Simple

I didn't see this until the late 90's. Just incredible filmmaking from the Coens.

I referenced their relationship in the other thread, so I already knew this. I think it showed amazing resilience that she stuck with acting after that tragedy, and I think her dad has been smiling on her every film appearance since he left us. I would go so far as to say that one can see his acting style come out in her over the years.Jennifer Jason Leigh is Vic Morrow's kid to tie all the 80s together. They were filming a scene set in Viet Nam with Morrow and 2 young asian kids when the helicopter in the scene crashed and killed Morrow and the the kids. That ending no doubt resonated better with those who saw it before the endless array of sequels came out. I was not so fortuitous57 (tie). Friday the 13th

PICK.THE.BONG.UP.Can't rank what I haven't seen.Yea, how did this not make the original list? Also, how is Shuke the only one who ranked this? I think I'd have it about where Shuke does on a COMPLETE list of 80's movies.....maybe a bit higher.....granted, I'm a huge Pink Floyd fan.64 (tie). The Wall

Did no one else even think of this? A masterpiece mix of art, cinema, and sound.
Get baked and watch it
It’s a ridiculously well-done movie and kind of shocking that it was the first film for the Coens. They were brilliant right out of the gate.57 (tie). Blood Simple

I remember a friend telling me how great this movie was. He described that final scene with the dude under the sink. He was looking up and the camera zooms in on the condensation about to drip off the pipe. It was really something. I've been a Coen brothers fan ever since this movie. I think I saw it right around the time Raising Arizona came out. Totally different, but great nonetheless.

I liked the series, they just all kind of blend together for me so I left it off my list
This looked like it was going to be the same old thing that had already been done, but the cast made it really entertaining. And Gene Hackman's acting at the end is as great as anything he's ever done.

Good way to put it. I don’t really think it’s a good movie, but I’m glad it exists.Glad to see Roadhouse get some love! It's ranked appropriately. Not one of the greatest movies but sure is fun to watch.

Already saw some hate for this earlier in the thread. You can't say this is a bad film adaption, since King directed it. Love the AC/DC soundtrack.
