On the way.Yeah, I still think this ends up being a big game for him.I think he ultimately will end up with over 400 yards. Hopefully he'll get a couple tds.

Not really following you here. Doesn't Dallas play Philly in the final week?philly vs chicago next week is likely a completely meaningless game leaving the strong possibility foles, djax and mccoy get benched for most of it. this will be an agonizing decision for most of us.
Exactly, making win/lose versus Chi irrelevant to Phi (if Dal beats Was this week). Not really following you here. Not meaningless at all. They will be playing for playoff seeding if nothing else. I would think that being the 3 seed would be a very big priority for any team in the NFC this year so as to not have Seattle in the second round. I may be wrong but I would be shocked if they considered this remotely meaningless even if Dallas loses next week.philly vs chicago next week is likely a completely meaningless game leaving the strong possibility foles, djax and mccoy get benched for most of it. this will be an agonizing decision for most of us.
Cowboys are playing the in-shambles, bad to begin with Redskins. Cowboys have the best division record? How is it "likely" meaningless?philly vs chicago next week is likely a completely meaningless game leaving the strong possibility foles, djax and mccoy get benched for most of it. this will be an agonizing decision for most of us.
Good point, didn't think about this angle. Not meaningless at all. They will be playing for playoff seeding if nothing else. Dude, what are you smoking? I have heard of teams sitting their starters to rest up for the playoffs, I have never heard of a team sitting players in week 15, and then having them come back to play the finale.Exactly, making win/lose versus Chi irrelevant to Phi (if Dal beats Was this week). Not really following you here. If the #3 seed weren't on the line and if the Cowboy game was beforehand (rather than at the same time) and if the Cowboys won that game, then the Phi/Chi would be meaningless in terms of playoff entry/standings for Phi. In that event, week 17 would become a defacto extra playoff round for the Eagles, so it would make sense for them to bench a guy like McCoy if they thought he needed the rest.Dude, what are you smoking? Philly was flexed to the late game vs. Chicago. Too many ifs in that statement, with the first two already proven to not be the actual case, so as Insein pointed out already, disregard the thought and carry on with the Foles manlove.
Nick Foles!if dallas beats washington, then the philly vs chicago game is meaningless for the division title. win or lose in week 16, philly would need to beat dallas in week 17 to make the playoffs.Philly was flexed to the late game vs. Chicago. The Dallas game will be over.
Are some really saying that the outcome of the Dallas game could impact the Philly roster on Sunday evening? I'd like to know if this is remotely true.
Cam and Kaep are not matchup proof.Nick Foles is a fantasy monster. I had him pegged last week as the #7 or so dynasty QB. I'm rethinking that.
I don't see a compelling reason to take any of the aging "win-now" guys over him when he's pacing them or outscoring them already. So that nixes Manning, Brees, Brady. But there's something to be said for veteran surety, for the risk-averse. But my dynasty rankings wouldn't be for the risk-averse.
You could make an argument for any young guy that you love, especially the rushing freaks.
Cam
Luck
Wilson
Stafford
(RG3 or Kaepernick here if you are extreme believers)
So Foles might be as high as the #5 dynasty QB, higher if you like him over any of those consensus young guys.
Yeah, like I said opinions are going to vary wildly on the young guys, especially the ones who supplement with rushing numbers.Cam and Kaep are not matchup proof.Foles plays in a better offense than Wilson and Luck for FF production. RG3 is a decent buy right now in hopes of landing a unreal QB2 or a cheap shot at a elite QB1.
Great list, but unless Luck/Wilson get into offense where they get to "go get theirs" I'd rather have Foles.

So would you say Foles is your #3 dynasty QB?
It's hard to say. Things like weapons, offensive schemes, schedules ect.. can make me do a 360 for the upcoming season or long-term. So unless something chances I'd rather have Foles going into the offseason. FF is funny. Just last season Luck/RG3 were untouchable. This year they both could possibly be had at a reasonable discount while Foles and Wilson are being debated as elite. Luck and RG3 are still major talents(probably HOF'ers). Like you said, a case can be made for either guy on your list(except for CK imo). This topic might deserve a thread of it own. As a Foles owner in 2 championship games this concerns me too. My backup is Cutler in both leagues. In one league I also have Marshal.....I might need to consider Cutler in this league as I am the underdog. The Bears have the worst run defense ever... Chip likes to run. I am really hoping Foles hangs a dud and Shady has a 225/4 kinda stat line!
I wouldnt be concerned. If you look at the championship roster thread, 90% of the teams have foles as their qb. Dont get cute. Dance with the one who brought you here.
I would keep Foles, he plays through his injuries.Trying to decide what to do with Foles in a dynasty league. I have both Foles and Rodgers, as well as Bradford. What has Foles been going for lately?
I'm starting Cutler and Forte and going against Foles. I need the Bears to win 50-0.I don't have Cutler but for those worried about Foles on Sunday, I can't help but think the Bears offense is going to score big! Philly has no answer for those monsters at WR. Shady can and should have a great game but Doles is going to have to score through the air too. I can't see how he can't. Philly won't control the clock and this will be blow for blow possibly done to the wire.
It may end up in the turnover battle. I'm hoping the Birds seal it with a late Culter pick!

It does deserve a thread, I think the results would be fascinating. Maybe one of us will work up the motivation at some point haha. Just a current dynasty QB rankings thread would do the trick, probably. It's hard to say. He had a concussion that game?Awful Waffle said:Kind of bored so I just ran some numbers. If you took Nick Foles' fantasy points from only the games he started and finished this year, he's averaging 31 PPG, which would put him at 527 points in a full 17 week season. Peyton Manning is projected to finish with 394.
Foles is also averaging:
15.5 PPG overall (that includes 4 games he did not play in)
21.7 PPG in games he played (that's counting every start, the 4th quarter against Denver, and the 2nd half against the Giants when Vick was injured)
27.1 PPG in games he started (so all starts including his awful game against Dallas)

I'm in a similar situation, having Cam and Foles in a dynasty. I think Cam is more valuable, but it's close. I'm planning to shop Cam, as I am comfortable going into next year with Foles as my QB1, and I expect Cam to garner a lot more attention than Foles.Trying to decide what to do with Foles in a dynasty league.
