And yet they almost did! They led the Chiefs by 10 in the 4th quarter. Last year, if Tartt holds on to a gimme INT they’re back in the Super Bowl, and don’t tell me they couldn’t have beaten the Bengals.

The problem on both games is what happened after the Niners blew the lead. They needed Jimmy to come up big for them and he couldn’t. He overthrew Sanders in the SB. And he looked totally overmatched in the final two drives against the Rams. That’s Jimmy’s career in a nutshell

I've watched Russ come up big when it counted against the 49ers time and time and time again. When the 49ers got the ball back with 4 min and again with 2 there was near ZERO confidence in me that Jim would do anything more than a 3 and out. Sadly, Wilson Jr. tried too hard and ended the game before Jim did. LOL
