Anyone have thoughts on Barth? He's been either adequate or ballistic despite his mediocre team. I'm afraid of picking him up and TB getting blown out weeks 14-16...
He missed a 46 yarder,
all I ask for is FGAs, I don't expect they make every one, but with that it would have been a 10 point day, which is fine, and he made a 50+ yarder.
The Saints, Rams and Bears per FFToday are allowing the 4th, 7th and 6th most FFPA to kickers.
This is literally it, guys. Go here:

There's a lot of ways for us as fantasy players to assign narratives to the data and what we're seeing on the field. Santos has a big game, we then fit the narrative to his success -- Alex Smith is conservative in the red zone, offense continually stalls out, Santos gets a ton of FGs. It does occur sometimes, but consider this. The Chiefs have 26 FGAs across their 9 games. 13 of those came in 2 games; 17 of those came in 3 games. Can any of you predict which games get 7 FGAs? Can you more accurately predict those than the 4 games the Chiefs have had with 1 FGA or less?
Tampa has the most FGAs in the league. Barth has a big leg and has been fairly accurate. Fit whatever narrative you want to their offense, but the fact remains that Tampa is averaging over 3 FGAs per week with only one week having zero attempts. Only 2 weeks of their 9 games have 5 FGAs. That's the type of consistency you're hunting for... Tampa's attempting multiple FGs (usually 3 or more) nearly every week of the season, and they've got a kicker with a big leg.
ETA - Evidently this cut off... What I was saying is that I can't believe some of you guys are leaving Barth sitting on the wire. It's the most consistent kicking situation in the league.
