I picked up Aubrey to cover Boswell (had to cut him) and seriously considering picking him back up again

I dropped Aubrey for Boswell today. I don't see Dallas in many tight games, and so there's too many going on 4th down or 2 Pt con attempts for my liking. At least the Steelers are in all games and have decent but not elite offence

This got me thinking. Yes, a punter punts, but typically his other duty is holder for kicks. If you don't have complete faith in your punter being able to do this duty, why not roster a player whose sole purpose is to hold for kicks? I know it sounds insane, but a long snapper typically only snaps for kicks and punts, right? Using your Cincinnati Bengals, their long snapper is 3 year veteran Cal Aldomitis. He has played exactly 356 snaps in his career, and all were on special teams. He doesn't come in when Burrow is in the shotgun.

My point was a team should never have to choose not to attempt a FG when their regular holder is healthy. If you are adamant about having your punter be your holder and they suck at it, you have 2 choices - either pick a different player to be a holder, or get rid of your punter.

Have him in all of my leagues and have to drop so many people because of it. In one league I have Nico, Brooks, and Jennings in my IR in that league. I’d have to drop three players to pick up Moody. I might just go no kicker and take the L. Would have to drop McConkey, Ekeler, and probably Downs. (Ten team short bench).

Nvm. The play is to just keep the spot open and pick up Sanders or Karty on Monday if you need the points.

I grabbed John Parker Romo once I heard Seibert had a hip injury Thursday. He used to kick for the XFL San Antonio Brahmas last year. Solid kicking numbers then (17/19 on field-goals, long kick of 57 yards), worth a flier considering the opponent.

The long snapper popped up on the injury report with an illness. Something to monitor - the emergency LS is a G who hasn't been a LS in a game since 2016 in college.

This was shocking (to me anyway). Hopefully, this is just an aberration. I'm off to find a video of the misses and see if there is anything in the local SF news about it. Six field goal attempts is usually a dream situation as an FF owner!

I mean...can he actually miss three kicks AGAIN? Usually, you run away from putting your hand on the stove again after a game like last week, but lightning usually doesn't strike twice in consecutive weeks.

Considering B. McManus if the weather holds up. GB off a bye and historically who just murders CHI, could absolutely crush CHI. If that offense can't move the ball, plenty of scoring opportunities.

Actually considering stacking the GB D with McManus and putting all my special teams chips in here.

How was Aubrey on your waiver wire ? He was #1 kicker at that time now Dak getting hurt as me worried still going to roll with him though.
