Is Friday Night Lights more a teen drama like 90210 or Melrose Place? Or is it more a "regular" drama just with teens.
It was a drama that had adults and teens in it. They lived in the small town of Dillon, TX. The coach (Kyle Chandler) and his wife (Connie Britton) had significant storylines in the show. Their friend Buddy was in it a lot as well. Teens were a big part of it, because he was a high school football coach, and his wife was a guidance counselor and then a principal. The teens were great actors, and it was a launching pad for some like Zach Gilford,
Jesse Plemons, Michael B Jordan, Taylor Kitsch, etc. Whoever the casting director was did a great job at finding young talent. Anyway, I think it was very good series.
