The Trent Richardson Thread (1 Viewer)

What are the odds of Richardson finishing this game under 4 ypc....2 to 1?
Nope. Shouldn't see another touch.
I was typing that post and watching the game and I was thinking the only way he doesnt finish under 4 ypc is if he doesn't get enough carries. Then I thought to myself he'll probably fumble again tho. And he did....

Crazy. Coolstorybro type of deal. But it was uncanny.

This thread has been enjoyable. Amazing the things he can do. The OL is killing it and he gets 66 yards, his Indy career high in his 18th game. Then he goes and helps the Eagles tie the game with his second fumble.

LOL, TD #2 for Bradshaw.

ETA: TRich has played 18 games with the Colts and tonight was his first game with 65+ rushing yards (he has 66) and has 4 total TDs. Bradshaw has played 5 games with the Colts and has 3 games of 65+ rushing yards (95 tops and of course 1 of the 3 tonight as well) and has 4 TDs. Tale of two cities.

I need TRich to bust so I don't feel bad for trading him straight up for Isaiah Crowell.
I wish I could trade him for that. Maybe if he gets this goalie carry I can get someone who missed the game to be "out of town dumb" on his actual play tonight. Brutal.

I thought T-Rich looked pretty good until the fumble. Better than anytime last year. Bradshaw is my new #3 RB since Ingram is out, so I actually hope T-Rich sees less touches.

Dude, when they've got one guy wide and somebody with a #8- leading in the backfield, you can't judge an RB's performance, only the offensive line's.

Kool Aid Larry did predict that Bradshaw would shut this thread down. Can't find the actually post with my phone but I know it's in here somewhere.

Gotta give him props for being so confident about it.

trent came up with a twist --- actually looks pretty good as a runner so he just keeps dropping the ball 'til he gets benched

THANK YOU, TRENT!!!!!

I needed 100 yds and a td from bradshaw tonight!!!

He did, but if you watch his three best runs (15 and a couple around 10), the holes were gigantic and he didn't get close to being touched until the second level. I don't want to say they were gimmicky, but they were and with the Eagles selling out to blitz Luck up the middle, he got nice room to run and good run blocking.

The thing about him is that he runs hard, so when the hole is wide open, he looks impressive because he is big and has a head of steam and he is then going against the smaller defensive players. I don't want to say he hasn't looked better, but like on that play with the reception. That was a backup LB, who looked lost.

He's at 3.9 now. Will he get another carry. The drama is killing me.

HEY KOOLAID!!!!!! (CRASH!!!!!) LMAO @ the timing

LOL at the play calling. Let's run down the clock so we can score and not give the ball back to Philly. Oops, 3rd and 5. Let's just give it back to Philly and see what they can do. TRich really didn't do anything wrong there and he may still cause them the game because the Colts got a sense of false trust that he can average clost to 4 ypc.

Wow. Game on the line and they run Richardson on first and second down for 4 total yds? That's just mind boggling. iND coaches deserve a L here.

So, he gives the Eagles a TD to tie it at 20 and then stalls out the potential game winning drive to allow the Eagles plenty of time to win it. Priceless.

The best part is that this was one of his best running games ever for the Colts and he helps them lose. This is starting to feel like that Romo thread in the FFA.

somebody please tell me again how good of an OC Pep Hamilton is. Tie game with 3 minutes left, runs 2 dive plays up the middle and whatever the heck that 3rd down play was.

At least we should have a decent pick next year and hopefully a new OC.

Wait, people talk about how bad the O-line is, and you say that's no excuse. Now the line actually opens up some holes, and you say that doesn't count?

They're still going to win their division.

Looks like Houston might have something to say about that.

My thoughts as well.

I know they've played a couple really good teams so far, but they've shown they can't put together a full 60 minutes. If they don't right the ship, they could easily be at 9-7 this year and be hoping for a wild card spot.

No way in hell a team with Ryan Fitzpatrick at the helm is going to be 10-6 or better on the season.

Houston will not finish any better than 9-7 (and I'd actually go with 8-8). Houston played Washington and Oakland so far and they started 2-0 last year as well. Houston is not a bad team at all, but they still have Ryan Fitzpatrick at QB.

Indy played two very tough teams and are still the best team in that division.

If they only let him throw 20 times a game and let their defense do the dirty work, they have a shot.

They also have a lot of winnable out of division games.

Last year Houston was projected to win the division again, but wheels fell off of the offense. They have a much better team than what they showed last year...they just gave up.

I don't think it's unrealistic to see them going 9-7 with the teams that they have left on their schedule. If the Colts stumble...

He didn't say it doesn't count, he's just giving context. You know, how you guys like to always blame his crappy performances on anyone but Richardson?

He certainly looked better last night, but he wasn't great by any stretch and was still clearly outplayed by Bradshaw, a guy who many dismiss as not very good. How many times does this have to happen before it sinks in? It's pretty telling that a game with a sub 3.8 ypc and two fumbles is one of the best of his career with the team...

what about when they bring in the wooden hammer?

So is everyone getting Dion Lewis? He was inactive last night, but what are the odds he's active and getting carries in the next month?

.

With Ingram out and Lacey having another tough match-up, I'm leaning heavily towards starting Bradshaw in my IDP league...

Anything can happen, and they do have a solid defense and strong running game, but I'm just not a Fitzpatrick fan (well actually I do like the guy, I just don't think he's very good after watching him for years in the AFC East). If Houston can split their two games with Indy, I suppose they stand a chance of winning the division.
