I read last week that in a typical year, there are about 200 serious passenger incidents in-flight. Since January 2021, however, there have been 1,300 through the end of May.

I just spent 2 days going through Southwest's system issues.  Tensions were running high.  Nothing approaching the examples in the video, but I thought it was getting close a couple of times.  I did hear a big round of applause once.  Maybe something like this was dealt with.

When flights have been delayed for hours, I guess that gives everyone permission to try to get off the plane as fast as they can.  I guess making their connection is more important than everyone else in front of them trying to make their connection.
