Thomas Rawls, RB, CMU/Seahawks (2 Viewers)

I hope you're right. I'm already getting this Spencer Ware Part II feeling... a month from now we're still waiting on Rawls to break half a dozen points and making excuses for him based on a 2015 burst of unsustainable productivity.
Ugh -I'm leaning on Ware and Rawls (if) I make it to playoffs --

It's been well documented that the Seahawks OL hasn't been great. After all, they haven't invested much into it since they're paying so many other players at other positions. I wouldn't be surprised if the run game doesn't get going on any given week. But who honestly expected 5 points against the Bucs? I'm going to chalk that up as being a bad game for whatever reason and hope we get a good week 13 game to instill confidence for the playoffs.

SEA is favored by 6.5 this week at home but the match-up is pretty poor. It's been better lately but that is because CAR has been allowing a lot of receptions to RBs  (the most in the last 5 weeks) but it looks like George Farmer is their 3rd down back.

This situation is poop.

The thing is, and I hate being all hindsight here and all, but there is a lesson in this somewhere.

I looked back over a few pages in this thread and it is nothing but unbridled optimism. Things like "CJ is no threat", "Rawls is gonna dominate" etc. etc.

In all of the comments did anyone mention how bad the O-line is. "Rawls was above the situation."

CMike was a knucklehead and even CJ is just a dump off back. The reality of the line was never their fault.

The same optimism was in the Dion Lewis thread that also ignored the reality of the current situation.

What is everyone doing with Rawls this week vs car?  Is it as scary a matchup in reality as it is on paper?  Is kuechly back this week?

have to decide bw Rawls or jeremy hill vs philly.  Or tyreek hill vs atl.  In a super important week obviously.

Not that I trust him but Carroll was quoted as saying Rawls will be fed alot  -- For me its Rawls or D. Lewis --

Playing Ware and Booker over Rawls.  Last week the O-line vs. TB was putrid and until that changes, it won't matter who is running the ball.

Looks like sea gets their starting center back this week and no kuechly for car.  That change anything?
I have Rawls benched for ware and latavius Murray this week, but I'm considering swapping him with ware based on this.  It's ppr and Tyreek Hill is killing any chance of more than 2-3 catches for ware.   It's just so hard to trust a Seattle rb right now.  I lost 15 points last week because I put Rawls in over latavius Murray last second.

Nah.   This late in the season these boards quiet down a ton BC half of the teams are out of it.  I'm sure there are a lot of Rawls owners like me who are still in it and thinking about what to do with him this week.

Its no biggie.  We're all friends and discussing it here.

Look for the Seahawks to surprise everyone and take a running back early.
I think they take a RB next year because I believe they only have two on the roster that they are happy with (Rawls and Prosise). I think those two fill specific roles looking into the future assuming both are healthy. I have doubts when it comes to Collins. This team isn't headed into the season next year with only two RBs on the roster. What's an early pick? Hard to say and depends on your perspective.

It's either Rawls or Miller for me.. leaning Rawls at home .. Houston offense has been terrible

This game is also meaningless for me as I have clinched 1st round bye next week already and can't lose #1 seed

I am seeing nothing but positive expectations for Rawls this week.

I have to decide whether to bench Davante Adams or Michael Crabtree for Rawls.

Am leaning toward leaving Rawls on my bench.  I watched a good deal of the Tampa game.  The blocking was brutal.

Rawls was on my bench Tuesday morning.  Unless Crabtree is a scratch at 4:05, I'm leaving Rawls on my bench this week.
