I'm very confident in my stupid decision making, I will let no facts stand in my way either. You are late Saints. Very late.

You sound just like the person who will Make Fantasy Football Great Again!I'm very confident in my stupid decision making, I will let no facts stand in my way either.
That's really funny because initially I was going to say "believe me!"You sound just like the person who will Make Fantasy Football Great Again!![]()
Giving him this year and see.I wouldnt call Melvin Gordon garbage at all. Those who have watched preseason witnessed Melvin's extra gear , incredible speed and ability to break a long TD with ease. I'll give you that Matt Jones isnt an option but Gordon is ranked in the top 10 on fantasyindex and PFF paid sites. He looks ready to ROLL!
Rawls is also a top RB but ,interestingly enough, not ranked nearly as high as Melvin on either site..maybe an RBBC scare tactic ? I own both guys and I think each should flourish this season..
Melvin for Rawls is a wash for me. Ifnthe other party upped the stakes with a WR maybe I'd consider
Its meaningless. Rawls is the back to have this year. The reason they did that is Pete's "Always COMPETE" mantra.
Woodhead is still going to get a lot of snaps.I would have done the trade to get M Gordon. Seahawk's starter>>Charger's starter
but I like M Gordon vs possible RBBC.
That's for the Chargers/Woodhead thread and I'm in the minority on this and that.Woodhead is still going to get a lot of snaps.
"He's ready in the next couple weeks to get back in where he can start a game, take a game over and do all of the things that he can do," Carroll said.
If you are Pete Carroll and you witnessed a really effective Christine Michael in the preseason, you are not rushing back Rawls. It's one or two games out of a 16 game season. Here's what I don't understand and maybe someone can enlighten me...
The guy has been recovering for almost 10 months now. 10!
I don't understand how one more week is the key to him being healthy? He's either healed after 10 months or he's not. I can't fathom how one more week helps at all...
I'm kinda leaning towards Carrol playing games/misdirection and we will see a normal volume game for Rawls with at least 18 touches.
Either that or I can see this lingering for a couple more months not just one more week.
He ain't going anywhere. Would not be surprised if his nickname is Herpes.Woodhead is still going to get a lot of snaps.
CMike was always a pre-season superstar and a regular season bust.I agree (otherwise what was the point of keeping him over Pope?) but I think if we're in a similar situation a year from now Prosise will be the guy. Long term, I think he'll take over as long as he can close the gap on the mental side of the game.
nice. 6 team leeg?I benched him and am starting Decker at Flex in his place.
I own both and am starting M Gordon as of now. However, if I had to choose between CMike and Rawls I would choose Rawls. I just don't trust CMike.I know this isn't WDIS but if you own him and c-mike.. You start c-mike right??
Thomas Rawls (illness, ankle) returned to Seahawks practice on Friday.
He should be good to go, although Rawls' usage is expected to be limited versus the Dolphins. Rawls will be a low-floor flex option in Week 1.

And despite what some ball licking CMike owners might think because he was in on the last drive....neither does the coaching staff. The CMike owners will go down and burn badly with this kid. So be it.I own both and am starting M Gordon as of now. However, if I had to choose between CMike and Rawls I would choose Rawls. I just don't trust CMike.
I'm happy about the workload but now it looks like Wilson could be out a game (maybe). If so I'm benching Rawls again...
Fwiw it was this Rapoport tweet.Hooper31 said:Do you have a source for this information? Or just your gut? I have serious doubts he would miss a game.
But apparently it's not a big deal after all. Sprained ankle doesn't sound good but then if Wilson plays, which it sounds like he will, that's all that matters.
Seahawks OC Darrell Bevell said Thomas Rawls has "always been our starter."
Christine Michael started and outplayed Rawls in Week 1, but Bevell's comments make it clear that Seattle doesn't view him as their No. 1 back. Rawls will play over Michael this week and should easily top the 15 touches he had in the opener. Rawls is locked in as an RB2 against the Rams.

Welp, now I'm gonna have to go ahead and start him....

Rawls said he is looking forward to reclaiming the starter’s role.
“I think coach is pretty confident with it but I’m fairly confident with it also,’’ Rawls said. “So I’m excited to be out there. Evidently they named me the starter, evidently I’m going to have a huge load this week. So I’m looking forward to it.’’
What will end Sunday at the Los Angeles Coliseum is Rawls’ long, sometimes scary path of self-doubt on his way back to Seattle’s starting lineup. The Seahawks say they feel their replacement for the retired Marshawn Lynch as the feature back is ready for the 20 or so carries he would customarily get.
That’s with screws and a metal plate inside the bottom of Rawls’ left leg.
“When I broke my ankle, there was always the unknown,” Rawls, 23, admitted Wednesday about his first major injury.
“I wasn’t sure when I would get back. I wasn’t sure if I would get back out there ever again.
“But I worked hard, and I pushed toward it. And this offseason went great for me. This whole organization and this team took great care of me.”
Carroll has emphasized that last week was essentially Rawls’ “second preseason game” in his recovery. He played in one exhibition, the last one on Sept. 1 in Oakland, and got but two carries in that.
While Rawls recovered, Christine Michael took full advantage of his opportunity to regain the Seahawks’ trust in his second go-round with the team. Michael’s decisiveness while running and his professional preparation earned him the start in the opener.
But Rawls remained No. 1 for whenever he was ready to play fully.
“He’s always been our starter,” Bevell said.
Michael had 15 carries for 66 yards against the Dolphins. Rawls had 12 rushes for 32 yards.
Now, Rawls is ready to assume the majority of carries — and maybe earlier than most people expected.
But not Sherman Smith.
The Seattle running backs coach had a knee replaced this offseason. Smith spent many long days inside the team’s training room in physical therapy — next to Rawls doing the same thing.
His position coach was wowed with how fiendishly Rawls attacked his rehabilitation during the winter, spring and summer.
“He has worked his butt off,” Smith said.
Rawls admits: “I’ve been pushing it. The offseason was hard.
“And look where I am today: I am starting a game. I’m excited about it.”

Rooting for Rawls big time but selling Lynch way short here. Team loved that guy and he dominated for them for multiple seasons winning games for them on multiple occasions.Marshawn Lynch without the drama. Hope he can stay healthy.
