If the offensive production is consistently lacking on Thursday night games, it would follow that the defenses would consistently have good showings on Thursday nights...right?

Does anyone think that the Thursday night factor makes Denver defense an even better play tomorrow night bc the Oakland offense will suck more than usual?

Well...yes I agree they are a great defense and its a great matchup...but im wondering if the Thursday night theory plays well into the defense. Everyone always seems to be disappointed with their offensive players fantasy production on Thursday night games all year...so wouldn't it follow that we should always look to start a good defense on Thursday night? Then again, defenses have just as little time to rest and game plan as offenses, but it still seems to be the offenses that are hurt most by this. Or is the Thursday night phenomena just bologna?
