wtf is the point of fouling Jordan when they aren't in the bonus?
No idea, but it makes for riveting drama!wtf is the point of fouling Jordan when they aren't in the bonus?
Fair. But a late first round pick means nothing. I'll ride or die with D Rose. They are the same level player/prospect when healthy.I'm a Bulls fan and I'd trade Rose and a first round pick to get Kyrie.End of the day, they both suck on D. Rose plays better against smaller PGs and has been shooting the 3 pretty well since his last rehab. I'd take Rose. Hinrich or Brooks are better than Delevga or however you spell that.PG?I don't 100% trust the Bulls not to dork this up, but they have damn near every single matchup win outside of Lebron.I'm going to laugh my ### off if the Cavs get blown out this series without Love after he took so much #### all season for not meeting expectations.
I hate both teams equally. You guys enjoying this great Clipper game tonight?
... Any haters still awake?

And Rose is a better defender and passer.Wow, really? Kyrie is a better shooter, better finisher and better FT shooter.Fair. But a late first round pick means nothing. I'll ride or die with D Rose. I still hate the Clippers other than Jordan, but I hate the Rockets more. I hope the Clippers win this series and then lose in 5 to the Warriors. Then we can listen to you explain what a magical season the Clippers had getting to the conference finals. You guys enjoying this great Clipper game tonight?

yea the rockets looked great last night.Rockets will beat spurs. Sorry bud.Assuming the Spurs beat the Clippers, you will likely get your wish.I really want to see a Warriors vs Spurs conference final.

It has also demonstrated how small sample sizes can cause people to jump to unjustified conclusions. One thing the second round has illustrated is the diminishing value of home-court advantage.
It used to be if you didn't have it, you'd basically hope and pray you could steal one road game in a series.
No longer.

Second-best PG in the East is a fascinating conversation, though.
Lebron - Game 2 - attack and finish at the rim, kick out less. Can't have 2 free throw attempts again (although he should have had a few more)...should be 10+.It will be interesting to see what adjustments the Cavs make.
Mike Miller was a disaster last night, but with their lack of depth they really don't have a good option until Smith comes back.
It was surprising to see the lack of attention the Cavs paid Gasol, especially coming after a series of frequent double teams from the Bucks. Maybe play LeBron on Gasol and Mozgov on Noah/Gibson?
The Cavs will have to start Thompson at the 4. Move James back to the 3. LeBron tends to have down games when he logs major minutes at PF. There is no easy solution to this. The Cavs need James to rebound. That is a little harder on the legs. Noah may be garbage in the statistical column, but his 30 minutes a night of banging on James will go a long way in this series. It will be interesting to see what adjustments the Cavs make.

Cavs also need to play Perkins. They wont win with a 3 man rotation at the 4/5 that includes LeBron.
Thompson played 37 minutes off the bench. I can understand not starting him since the Cavs only have two quality bigs (not counting LeBron). Mozgov only played 26. I wonder if they will try to get him more minutes although he can't defend on the perimeter. That goes back to my idea that they should play Mozgov on Noah. The highlighted is really the biggest issue. I don't see how the Cavs make it out of the East unless someone else steps up. Perk is really the only hope. James Jones played a bit of 4 last night, but that is just as scary.Thompson played 37 minutes off the bench. I'm not sure Perkins can help a team these days.
LeBron can guard anyone, though. They can make it work. I still think they will make it out of the East despite their depth problems. After game one, I disagree. I'm not sure they can beat Chicago. Washington can throw some even bigger bodies at them. I Think the Cavs are done.Juxtatarot said:I still think they will make it out of the East despite their depth problems. Plus, I actually like his newer commercials.Blake Griffin isn't getting enough praise. He's been the best player in basketball these last three weeks of the playoffs. I didn't know he was this good of a passer and his ability to be a one man fastbreak after grabbing a rebound has been giving his opponents a hard time. I'd like to see his % of open jumpers this playoffs, has to be around 65%. I think we will look back at the Spurs series, as the launching point of putting him in the conversation of being in the Lebron, Durant tier. The Clippers all commented about how that series taught them so much and made them better. What he did against that defense, and what he did last night in game one vs Houston was phenomenal.
24.4 ppg (7th)

Seemed like he repeatedly drove the lane, found multiple defenders and made terrible jump pass type turnovers. Pretty terrible game from what I saw.Lebron - Game 2 - attack and finish at the rim, kick out less. Can't have 2 free throw attempts again (although he should have had a few more)...should be 10+.I remember one possession specifically where Lebron defensively bodied up Gasol and Gasol turned into Gumby. I wanted to see that more, at least in the 3rd quarter, and I don't remember it happening again.Juxtatarot said:It will be interesting to see what adjustments the Cavs make.

Yep, he was pretty bad. KLove's importance should be rather clear to the detractors.Seemed like he repeatedly drove the lane, found multiple defenders and made terrible jump pass type turnovers. Concerning to a bulls fan as well. I like to think Tibs plays Mirotic more in game 2+, but overall I trust Tibs vs Blatt for now.Nice win for the Bulls, but for as well as they played/shot and as bad as the Cavs played, the game went down to the wire.
Both.I missed the first 3 quarters. Poor shooting by Golden State or good defense by Memphis?
Obviously both, but I think most of it was just a poor shooting night outside of Klay who Tony Allen locked down. Curry missed shots he normally makes and the 3s Barnes and Draymond took were wide open misses.I missed the first 3 quarters. Poor shooting by Golden State or good defense by Memphis?

Absolutely. As Cleveland is finding out without Kevin Love, any team will feel the effects of being without one of its key starters.Both.I missed the first 3 quarters. Poor shooting by Golden State or good defense by Memphis?
Memphis is a different team with @conley11 on the floor.
