I've been a Lions fan my whole life.. so I claim my rightful credibility when I say this:
This team this year is the most brutal watch that I can remember.
This team has 6 games without a QB over 150 yards passing.  ONE game with QB over 250 passing.  5 games under 300 yards total offense, 3 under 250.  17 offensive TDs all season. 3 games 10 points or less.  3 games over 20. 0 rbs over 500 yards. 1 WR over 500 yards (highlight of the offense?).  Longest offensive pass play was thrown by a WR.  ~1 turnover forced per game.  Nobody over 5 sacks.
On the plus side?  #2 Scoring defense and a kick return for a touchdown.
Just rough.

I'm so sick of this franchise asking fans to be patient. At my most grumpiest they can skip rocks. I understood it during the revamp of Whis and Mularkey did remove some players to make the team his own but it was also clear that he was the TE/Asst head coach so he knew the personnel. So we're all patient and then it pays off and finally they're a good team. Respect around the league, playoff win, what will happen in 2018?
Hiring an OC and HC with no experience was not the move to make.
We fans all need Kenneth Adams IV to return and I can't wait for it. He knows enough football, enough truths about the league, and how to do business and all that, that Bud's son is going to be very very good for stabilizing. I love how the guy speaks so direct and honestly.
Lebeau should have been kept. Then when he met with Vrabel again, then he should have been kept as an advisor. You only get so many chances in life to have a legend work for your organization, the Titans should have kept him in some regard. Right now he'd be invaluable just offering wisdom to the D and maybe more importantly what he sees with the offense. Also Vrabel is relatively unappreciative of the grunts and he used to be one. The end of the roster and practice squad has been rookie cr and not how coaches run a team normally. They should be hustlers, someone for the future, and multipositional types.
All the heart guys are gone and they don't have a prayer when the team struggles. This is also coaching. It is not apparent that they can inspire or motivate. I hope Pees feels better but the players being unaware til halftime and some til after the game....his presence isn't there on the sideline. LaFleur's obviously isn't there. My suggestion goes back to Lebeau like thoughts, hire some old ball coach to walk the sidelines. With the coordinators in the booth, who is on the end of the mic relaying info? How come Marcus has never had a surface tablet in his hand yet every NFL QB has? They need an old guy making sure things are done the right way on gameday.
LaFleur has the same ego as Robiske. I thought it was shocking to read Marcus' unhappiness and inability to adjust/call plays one week after rocking with it for two. That's exactly what happened with Robiske and skip them. Where's the communication? What are ya seeing Marcus? Why'd you change to this? And then adjusting themselves as OC? That's awful teamwork, awful. I'd bet $ Marcus sits this week despite saying he was well enough to go in and being angry he could go in. LaFleur's ego is hurt. In years prior, Marcus was the golden boy and whoever missed a block or didn't help improve his play was fired. If Marcus is benched with a "but he's injured claim" I would bet $ LaFleur is fired at the end of the year.
The Titans had a good idea. They hired a young DC and eventually Lebeau to train him. I'd have been fine with some old guy training LaFleur.
If Henry doesn't suit this offense, then why wasn't he traded and why does he have more yards than Lewis and why does Saban think he should flourish in this offense? There are a lot of fans that think Taywan and Henry will do well elsewhere and burn the team in the "we should have used them better" fashion.
Vrabel and LaFleur claimed to create a mishmash offense of what worked prior, the Rams, and the Pats. It's just ugly junk. The only time the O works well, Corey is just eons better than his CB. Davis is having a rookie like year. Dominant in stretches completely hidden in others. Everything about Rob Moore is favorable and their WR coaches have stunk so kudos on that hire. He has to have the other WRs playing better and maybe not focus so much on Corey. When Davis is having a down game, their offense is awful.
Kelly has played better at RT than Conklin. The RG and C have been poor. I'd fire the OL coach and hire some former player to get em' through the season. 60% are stinking. Filo and Looney (two former Titans) are starting and doing OK for the Boys too. Michael Roos has been at the facility more than a dozen times. He was told he wasn't welcome (like other vets) from Vrabel and Amy told him the door's always open, so he comes to visit just to make a point. (Eddie does too for that matter.) Hire Roos. For the offseason, they can hire an OL coach that can teach technique and understands everything on offense but as far as getting em thru the season...Roos could totally do gameday stuff. They only have 4 or 5 practices left too so I just figure Roos would be fine to get em through.
More with this, Kenneth and Moustache ask former Titans (staff and players) their opinions of things and at times others around the league too. Kenneth is mister "do it the right way" but he'll let coaches and GMs do whatever they want til they're fired; he just has to see professionalism, integrity, and tradition.
His return will be huge. If not awesome for the team, then it will be great for fans. He's so point blank. Your offense was ranked 30th, thanks for your time. We'll be able to follow everything well and Vrabel- the way he treats the press and fans (in this era of online pressers) will never be tolerated.
Maybe most of all, Kenneth makes sure people speak of how things are for the organization's benefit and not their ego. If Vrabel stays, Kenneth reworking his thinking could be huge for the new coach if he accepts it and adjusts. His pride and ego will fill up just fine when they win. Vrabel has now been quoted at least four times saying the staff didn't do their job well. I don't know if he realizes mister factual is going to use that against him but there it is. I guarantee that comes up. When Kenneth interviews every staff member, I wish we could find out what they say too. Either way, he'll get some dirt there too. Vrabel is in a wide open right in front of everyone type position. He can't expect so much to be hidden and private.
I do wonder about JRob. He might be fine as a GM but I don't think he has necessarily done well as a VP. He could lose that title. I would bet $ he fires someone or makes some change in December, before Kenneth takes over.
I'm just so anxious for the excuses and dopey requests for patience to be done. I can't wait for the franchise to have a leader again
