Titans interested in Mike Williams (1 Viewer)

Williams seems to be as good as gone here. Marinelli is basically demanding BMW get down to a designated playing weight, 220 lbs, which is just not where the guy should be playing. Martz feels he cannot be effective on the outside in the offense. There is a reason his nickname is BIG Mike Williams. The guy has already gotten down to about 220, he just can't go any further. He used his body to his advantage in college and if he could just get some playing time and confidence, he'd still be able to use his size in the NFL. Unfortunately, M&M are obsessed about playing weights. If M.Williams is getting a shot somewhere in the NFL, it most likely won't be in Detroit. Heck, even Josh McCown got more time at receiver than BMW, and he's supposed to get traded. Mike could be cut sometime this offseason, and definitely will be if the Lions take CJ. The funny thing is, Calvin weighs 239, 10 lbs more than Mike! However, the guy might still have some dynasty value, if only a little, in really deep rosters. He is only 23, and if he can mature, he's got the ability.

Williams can be had, that's been out there much of the offseason.

I can not imagine being Chow and understanding how he could stink in Detroit. That must be very weird after his college play.

He might be better than any of the jokers they have on the roster. Wouldn't be a bad move.

As much of a bust as BMW has been, I just can't see giving up on a WR as talented as he is when he's the same age as most of the WR's in this year's draft (younger in the case of Higgins).

Calvin weighs 10 lbs more and also is .3 seconds faster! What's your point? They wouldn't mind his weight if he wasn't slow. He played against horrid Pac 10 defenses and was flat out overrated in college. Playing for the media darling that is USC didn't hurt either. USC has had some great players, but a lot have also been vastly overrated strictly because of ESPN's constant hype.

My buddy knows a Lion assistant.

I was told not only is BMW fat..but he is slow as well. BMW has a soft body type..not ripped at all.

If you watch his college highlights BMW looked slow at USC.
