Bengals Wednesday practice injury report

Written by: MARK CURNUTTE ¦ 9/13/2006

Five Bengals players were listed early this afternoon on the team's unofficial injury report by coach Marvin Lewis.

Wide receiver Antonio Chatman (groin) is out, though "always subject to change," Lewis said.

He listed four players as probable: defensive tackle Sam Adams (knee), wide receiver T.J. Houshmandzadeh (heel), left offensive tackle Levi Jones (ankle) and cornerback Deltha O'Neal (knee).

Jones re-sprained his ankle during the Chiefs game, Lewis said.

Houshmandzadeh missed the Kansas City game but could play Sunday.

Did he prac. wed.?
Bengals WR T.J. Houshmandzadeh did not participate in 11 on 11 drills on Wednesday. He is listed as probable on the injury report.
TJ must have a low tolerance for pain, last season his hand, this season he misses a month cause of a bruised heel?I won't play him unless he practices full speed before Friday.
Ditto
I third that. I'm trying to be optimistic that he will play but part of me is thinking they err on the side of caution with the Steelers coming up Week 3. Yesterday he was questionable and today probable so maybe he will get a couple good practices in.

I'm increasingly concerned about this situation; he got knicked up in the third preseason game and is still not practicing prior to week 2?
