***TNF Game Thread*** Tampa Bay vs Chicago +3 (44.5) (1 Viewer)

I think the Bucs defense is pretty stout but the Bears offense isn't a juggernaut. 

I would have preferred the Bucs just burn clock or burn Bears Timeouts, even 2:00 no timeouts, would be hard for Bears to run a good drive. 

 
I'm not saying Montgomery is great, but he gets hit in the backfield a lot, and usually eeks out positive yardage. That's important.

I feel like the Bucs need to perhaps make a trade for someone who can catch...that said someone who isn't playing tonight caught like 70 balls last year...I know that's right but I feel like I need to look it up anyways, hold on Frank...my God Frank it was 76 actually, that guy needs to be in the Bucs line up, Leonard caught 76 balls in JAX last year. He's going to be the feature back at some point, you can bank on it. That problem Jones has catching the ball is a real problem. He is good though between the Tackles and running the football, he seems pretty good at it. 

If you are a Bucs fan, you are either really optimistic or you are really frustrated you can't get it all in 1 Back.

 There was a fairly solid run earlier by Montgomery, where he fought for a few extra yards.

 I heard a very low rumble of the piped in crowd noise.  It sounded "muffled".

 Then I thought, "Wow, the NFL finally got something right, and this year is every bit as consistent as any the last 10 years. The Bears fans always have muffled reactions. They never cheer."

Monty just waits too GD long to make a move, you can't allow them to zero in on you. I get it, he was trying to allow his blockers...he just needs to take off or move towards the end zone as fast as possible and if that only gets him 3 yds then so be it. 

 
Dude, if someone can’t see how long it takes Montgomery to restart once he cuts, I’m not sure what to say.  Patterson gets north south on that and gains 5+ easily.

He doesn’t take too long to make a move, he actually makes too many moves and doesn’t actually go anywhere when he makes them.  

 
Tampa really should have gone for it, instead of kicking the FG of 4th and 1, with a little over 5 minutes left. 

Regardless of how this game ends, that was what they should have done. if they hold on and win, its not because that was the right call.
