**TNF on Prime - Broncos 9-5 at Chargers 8-6** (-2.5, 41.5) 8:15 (1 Viewer)

I know this rule because I was watching this game as a 10-year-old and never forgot it

Mark Moseley made a fair catch kick attempt during a game between the Washington Redskins and the New York Giants on November 25, 1979. The attempt was from 74 yards out with 54 seconds remaining in the game. The Redskins were trailing 14-6 and were hoping to score quickly and recover the onside kick

Why did I find that exciting? I don't think I've heard this discussed since the 80's. Did they say when the last time it was attempted?
Didn’t say last time attempted but was last done successfully by the Chargers’ Ray Wersching in 1976

Herbert with some real weapons next season is gonna be fun to watch.

Any chance Tee Higgins goes to LA as a free agent? He would be a great add for that offense.

If Denver just runs the ball on second down the half is over. This could be a critical mistake.
Or if the idiot guy didn't run into the guy making a fair catch
Agree to a point. A short pass with 13 seconds left didn't make much sense.

On a side note, this game looks like a hybrid tackle/touch football game. Terrible tackling, especially by the Chargers. Haven't seen anything close to a real hit yet.

If I am remembering correctly, Arizona tried one about 10 years ago, but it was short. If Payton knew what he was doing, he should have had the punter kick it out of bounds.
