**TNF on Prime - Falcons at Buccaneers**(-5.5, 43.5) FF Playoffs Kickoff at 8:15 - Let's GO!!! (1 Viewer)

Evans has had such a great career, marred by stretches of being injured. Has to be HOF, no? 11 straight seasons of 1000+?
Curtis Martin of WR's.
Good comparison

He’ll have a good chance to get in eventually but there’s a heck of a logjam at WR so I don’t think its a lock. Plus the classes the next 5 years are going to be first ballot heavy taking up slots making lots of guys wait (Brady, Watt, Big Ben, Brees, Fitz, Peterson, Gronk for example) so its only going to get worse for the WR’s as we add guys like Antonio Brown, Julio, AJG, Edelman into the mix behind Holt, Wayne, Steve Smith…

Personally, I'm of the preference of I'll take an elite short career over a very good long career. The Terrell Davis>Curtis Martin argument.
I share that take. I always look for the bolded spots on the career stat sheet. If they didn’t dominate the era in which they played in a couple categories, multiple times, I don’t think they’re particularly deserving.

But when the voters are looking at the all-time lists, Evans name will dot a few.

He’s currently 23 all-time in yards, 34th in receptions, 10th in ReTD.

That last one puts him ahead of HOFers Tim Brown, Largent, Hutson, Isaac Bruce, Maynard, Reed, Alworth, and soon to be Gronk.

Gonna be hard to keep that out of the HOF.

London’s injury is making Pitts a ton of money.

I figured Atlanta would let him walk because of his inconsistency, drops, and just all around lack of development but can they afford to let him go leaving Bijan & London as the only threats on offense?

Evans is first ballot. The others will have to fight amongst themselves to get in.

Brady, watt and gronk are the only guys listed that deserve the hall more.
